Wow, best question so far in a long time! So, I asked my dental lab network for you and they said that "there's no cheap way to do this" but you can try an engraver but it's hard to keep the aligner still to do this and it might compromise the quality. Evidently, some people are doing laser engraving but I don't think that's meant to put in the mouth. On the expensive end, you can use a laser engraving machine but you'd have to mount it in a jig. It all sounds like a big pain to me! I think just label the bags well and tell them to go in order and save the old ones in numbered bags.
@@Straightsmilesolutions Thanks for that! I was also thinking of some sort of laser engraving and was hoping someone found a cheap one. Keeping in numbered bags is what we do, but its not ideal. I guess will have to accept that…
The dentist took a few tries to get the attachment on and it fell off on the first day. Im 2 weeks in now and Im learning it could be bad. What should I do?
i was eating and i accidentally bit my chopsticks and half of my attachment came off and the other half is on my tooth ... do i throw away the bit that came off?
it depends if it's an attachment or a button so I'd call your doc and ask. They might tell you to come in and pause your aligner change. Best your doc decides
You can try but they are more rigid then just ordering a new attachment template but might be better to just re order the new attachment template at the new aligner you are in
Thank you for you your interesting videos. Do you have any tip on ways to permanently mark on each (in-house) aligner its stage #?

@@Straightsmilesolutions thanks contacted my orthodontist :)
I was under the impression with invisalign can't use the previous aligner as attachment template. Will it be OK?

I’ve done it and never had problems getting it off
I’m having trouble with taking my aligner off
You should use an "outie" or "ART"...if you don't know what that is just google it on Amazon.
