This last week in the north east of England it as felt like the start of winter missing out on autumn at the moment it is pouring of rain nearly as good as the video you did a few weeks ago which l am sorry l did not watch to the end because l knew we would be getting plenty of that kind of weather. A similar thing happened years ago when I kept chickens. After the rooster was taken by a fox, one of the older hens took on some of the characteristics of the rooster ie doing a sort of crowing, and marshalling the flock.
The temps have dropped here like the leaves are turning. I cooked a roast with vegetables yesterday, a great meal for a cool day. Wonder if your crowing hen was the one I called a rooster..lol Have a lovely day!
Great lighting on you in that location Kathy. Yes it’s far more autumnal here now too. We’re holiday in Shropshire this week and finally I can wear woollens and jackets again. I love it. Can you just wrap up with a few layers and still enjoy the garden? Or does the cold hurt your hands? You’re looking very well by the way - I hope you’re feeling well too 😊 D
