Yoyoka hitting hard and laying down the beat as usual. Ellen got to show just how spectacular a bass line can be. Man the vocals!!! Outstanding! Great tone on the guitars! What an incredible cover!
Extremely accurate cover. They sound like Muse at times. Of course they are using an additional guitar and an additional lead singers. All the kids are skilled on their instruments.
That's no way to get dietary fibre! Vinya needs to continue with vocal training to protect her instrument for the future! If she does, I don't think there's any stopping her! I just hope these young artists stay in touch and keep working together to eventually write their own original songs!!!
Great eh!!❤ thanks....already a big fan of Yoyoka and Ellen..and Charlotte ..(Ellenplaysbass)...Vinya is certainly a vocalist to watch as well as "the only Bay"!!
You could do a series on Yoyoka and ellen and Charlotte that would last for months.... The future of rock seems to be in the safe hands of teenage girls. LOL
I've heard the Muse original hundreds of times. This is _better_ than faultless. I very much enjoy hearing and seeing young musicians demonstrate their talent. I'm very fond of these 9-12yo musicians, first time in a studio: _School of Rock Students Perform "Oye Como Va" by Santana_ th-cam.com/video/XofP0TqUHnk/w-d-xo.html (4m:2s) I think they're a bit nervous and trying hard, so not many smiles. The guitarist is clearly a star, but the joy of the 9yo keyboard player soloing is wonderful. 😂 The drummer Yoyoka, and bassist Ellen, on this Muse cover, made a Led Zeppelin cover back in 2022: _Led Zeppelin - The Ocean (Cover) by Ellen, Eva, Mateo and YOYOKA_ th-cam.com/video/Oezh5Y1qutc/w-d-xo.html (4m:28s) Yoyoka first met them on that day, and had never played with them before they got into the studio. Ellen had only rehearsed with Mateo twice, and Eva once. The audio is one continuous unedited take (1st or 2nd take), plus Eva's backing vocals. The video needed a lot more takes because there was only one camera operator, Ellen's Dad, Hovak. He also mixed the audio and edited the video. Yoyoka, the drummer, has been playing *live* since 4yo. She is self taught starting at 2yo. Her parents restricted her to 30 minutes/day on the kit because they wanted her to have a normal childhood. AFAICT, that forced her to invent ways to think about drumming away from the kit. She also took over drum duties in her parents band at 5yo. She started making her 'Yoyoka Drum course' teaching videos at 6yo! Yoyoka often plays live with adult, seasoned musicians. These are all Japanese legends who respect and support her enough to gather in a studio during Japan's 'Stay Home' pandemic precautions. This one brought her international recognition when she won a part of the "Hit Like A Girl" global drumming competition: _Good Times Bad Times - LED ZEPPELIN / Cover by Yoyoka , 8 year old_ th-cam.com/video/91pz1E8pAOY/w-d-xo.html (2m:57s) There's a YT video of Robert Plant reacting to this cover within an interview. He's _very_ positive. Her 'Zep' covers are ridiculously good. When she plays solo covers, they are often not 'note for note' as she makes the drum parts her own. Ian Paice (Deep Purple's drummer) fans recommended he watch Yoyoka cover Deep Purple. He made this reaction: _Ian Paice Deep Purple 'Yoyoka' Burn Reaction_ th-cam.com/video/0RyJKiollcA/w-d-xo.html (10m:48s) He went on to collaborate with her on a new version of "Space Trucking" (behind a pay wall). Summary: there are incredible young musicians who would benefit from your support. Best Wishes. ☮
If I'm not mistaken, Yoyoka (the drummer) has been living in the US for some time now. She's already got a career behind her and might show up in other popular requests ;)
I have been aware of Muse for a long time , I have just never given them a listen besides 2 coves of this song I don't know why lol , but I probably should listen to the original version of this at least once . this was very cool though and yeah the SG ! love seeing those you do not see them much anymore .
With all your The Warning reactions I would have thought you had seen them perform this Muse cover at their school, Liceo when they were just kids (and Ale was only 10): th-cam.com/video/fU26wmlF3yg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=jKzpRJFTzcfw_FDF. These kids have a great future. 😎
Yes, it's a cover of Muse. If you recall, Muse is one of the bands that The Warning are huge fans of. 🎸🎸
Duh! My bad! Don't know how the hell I missed that! Thanks!

3 more songs of these kids will follow. So you get More than a feeling 😊

Ellen is a bass beast. As always!
And if that singer doesn't become a star, I'm eating my shorts! What a voice! 🤘

She has 4 scheduled dates in Boston, LA, Utah and Vegas hmmm doesn’t a great bass player live in Vegas❤
great idea on the Kids feature
Crazy bass girl ... !!!
The kids rock for kids band at Glastonbury 2023, was The Sixsters.
They give Muse a run for their money.
the bass line is non stop 100 bpm and very complex. Ellen is one of the few that has mastered it.
Ale from The Warning did it at 8 year old and played over the top of the neck!
