This seems like the worst period. Even the market are now very unpredictable. Started investing recently when the market prices were a bit high,today I am more than 60% down!.
Don’t be confuse buying the dip in a bear market, with guaranteed future returns. Just because that company is down 60%+ from ATH does NOT make it a sound long-term investment. Make sure you’re investing in great companies. kudos to Lorett Logan

Small caps have higher EPS growth rates for 2024-2026 per analyst estimates. Q1 results were over 60% surprise rate. So those growth rates make a lot more sense with a low P/E on small caps. Small caps could be a way better value than S&P500 given low P/E and higher EPS growth rates. Tech could be overvalued given analyst estimates for EPS growth and high P/E's. Per Benjamin Graham, the father of value investing, once said, "In the short run, the market is a voting machine, but in the long run, the market is a weighing machine." In other words, the most popular stocks win out in short run, but may not so in the long run once market regains its senses.
