James, Your knowledge, and delivery are among the best on Facebook. The way you present the news is always amazing. I hope you catch 500k subscribers soon. You deserve it.
Thanks for covering every announcement from this awesome company, I really hope they get the recognition and support from the community that they deserve, going to so much effort to bring us a product many people have wanted for a long time, affordable, real pinball that's actually good (hopefully). I seriously wonder how we're meant to make that loop shot on the right side though.
Even more excited after seeing their prototype! If you got the newsletter zoom in on the one photo and in the back right you can see a lot more of their planned theme layout! I love the chessboard thumpers. And from what I can tell that's mad hatters tea table to the right of them and I think caterpillar on the back right. I'm sure it's early and still undergo changes but I love the direction it's already going!
Well spotted! I was wondering how the pop bumpers would be themed, and kinda hoped from the domed look of the prototype render that they might be toadstools, but a chess board and pieces would be neat!
@@AmigaCammy in the picture it just has a chessboard under the pop bumpers, but the bumpers themselves do have a more toadstool shape so It's possible they could still make them toadstools as that would be fitting as well :D
One of the 3 bumpers would be a perfect spot for a caterpillar with a hookah. The ball looked a little small but tbd till further down the road. Initial thought is it looks promising.
I thought they'd look cool as toadstools, and of course with the caterpillar on one, but it looks like the pop bumpers will be themed around a chess board if you zoom in on a prototype image in the background of one of their photos.
James; thanks again for the great presentation. Mid January we will get to review the gen 2 prototype. There will be changes to what you have shown. We plan to add preliminary artwork and use it in our Kickstarter campaign coming in March. Happy Thanksgiving!
@garymonaco2226 great news! Thanks for keeping us excited. If you didn't watch @kongs-r-us and @consolekits stream last night, you might take a look. They had a really good observation on the flipper placement that could use some tweeking.
This is very exciting news. I’m surprised at how fast the announcements are coming. By chance, did you see the monitor in the background with the playfield rendered with graphics?

I think it's supercool....I will buy one
Boy, they’re moving things along. Bet they try different weighted balls trying to get best physics.
I'll definitely buy it, it's looking good.

Mike from the Penny arcade here. I’m pretty excited for this product is not excited for the theme. I can’t wait to see what they do.
I've heard rumours that their next game might be a licensed theme (possibly Star Wars).
pop bumpers look like they all go off at same time. they should be individual
Noticed that as well. That needs to be addressed!
it looks fun to me and way better than a toy grade machine.
