Took me half an afternoon and a few what DID I DO wrongs but I finally gone mine done!!! The hardest part for me was centimeters. I only have one little ruler that measure in cms. I managed! It's cute! I like it! I'll probably make one out of a white pair of jeans if I can find them! Nicely done!!!

Do you buy old denim jeans from the thrift store? I'd like to sew more with denim but the fabric is very expensive.
Hi Penny! Yes, I get my jeans from the thrift store. I like to get those jeans that I think people will not buy. For example those with little stains. My lining ( I use bedsheets most of the time), some of my printed fabrics and zippers, I got them from there too. Thanks again for watching my latest video. 💕😊🤗

What seam allowance are you using. I made the card slot portion using 1cm seams. After turning it was too small for the cards to fit in the slots.
Hi Becky! I think I used 0.7 cm here. Try 0.5 cm just to be sure. 💕😊
@@IreHeartCrafting Thank you! I unfortunately had already trimmed the corners and turned. I picked out the stitches and redid it with about 0.5. I have to figure something for the corners and then see if that solved it. I really like the purse and will re-cut that section if I have too.
@@IreHeartCrafting the smaller seam allowance helps but I’m scrapping that part and making my pattern pieces just a little wider for that part. I was able to save the tab closure. Thank you for your help
