I think he was really under pressure to get his first solo stage. I just felt it in his voice ... his voice was trembling slightly and not as usual. and his face looked very nervous at the time. but, he has to try again and sing all the songs he prepared.
Taeil's voice type is stronger and Doyoung's voice type is softer. I hope they can try again and become king.

I mean his instrument is also one of the best in his generation.
Yeah if he would have not debuted under NCT,he would have had a music degree from a prestigious college which he withdrawed from...but he would have met NCT regardless of his choice. Might even have become SM vocal trainer after graduation.
Taeil’s voice is soooo clear either in low or high notes!!! His singing here will seems like it’s recorded, when it’s actually live!!

Taeil did so well despite being nervous! It must be hard for him to not have his members by his side but he managed rlly well. He's one of NCT's strongest vocals and it shows!! 💚💚💚

I really love how taeil doesn't have to try really hard to reach certain notes. It's quite natural instead of sounding like you're force to, you can refer to his 4men cover. I'm quite sad he can't outshine himself more here but sooner or later everyone will recognise him as a legend

kay b. I think its not about dividing parts, but the first song just like a pop cheerful song that doesnt have special high or low notes or riff. Not a good song for showcasing vocal technique in a singing competition. Maybe for the duet round the song was chosen.

Taeil isn't my bias, but he's so close to becoming it. I joined nctzens in January 2021, so I'm still pretty new and the first time I fell in love with taeils voice was when I listened to Simon Says. His high note was wonderful it rlly put the song together. Whether taeil is your bias or not he puts nct together. His voice fulfills what nct songs are build of. I hope they give him opportunities to shine by himself sometimes as well. He's overlooked and underrated. I hope the rest of the kpop Fandom finds him and shows him appreciation.
