Considering for years I never considered Polk one of the best, you guys are right - Polk hit this so far out of the park it blew my mind - bought a set based on your recommendations. The best buy I've made this year, and thank you both!
Great job, praying the judges are kind on you. I applaud you did not include the incomplete products as they will come into their own with Dirac 4 discrete subs. For 2023 can you please include two categories of processor and power amps?
Andrew and Kristi. Just a quick comment on how grateful I am to you two for your honest, entertaining and common sense reviews and how they have influenced me. I’m a 55 year old new audiophile that has been a music lover all my life and had no idea where to start. Started watching you guys in January and I have found my end game system. I have the NAD M10 v2 running into the Schitt Freya. From there into 2 Emotiva BasX A1 mono blocks into 2 Polk R700s! Pure Zen! I would say you guys help me get there! Thank you and Merry Christmas and a healthy and safe New Year!
Love that the Polk R700's are winning so much fanfare. Feels like Polk is getting back to their roots of making products that get you 95% of the way there at a price point more people can afford. I'm sure there are better speakers out there, but the value of these cannot be ignored.
My wife asked me why I bought the Polk R 700s and I told her that Andrew and Kristi told me to. That was good enough for her! I think the Sony X95K is next on my purchase list. Thanks!
Hey Andrew!! I bought Samsung 990B soundbar based on your recommendation and I am honestly blown away. I got it for only $1300 during the sale and I don't think I can build a better sound system for both movie and music buying seperate AV receiver, speakers and a subwoofer for $2000 (msrp). It definitely is the best soundbar of 2022.
Awards matter. In any business it’s super important to reflect on your year and in your case share it with your fan base. It’s not about whether we agree with you.. it’s about the insight we gain by you guys making a call on what you liked best based on a knowledge base we don’t have access to.
Andrew, I just discovered this channel this year, and you (and your partner) have already moved into my top review channels. I'll keep watching. Thanks!
I have always bought my electronics only after reading your recommendations & you are spot on … Not favouring any brand .. Thanks for your gutsy honesty
Happy Sunday Andrew and Kristi. Corny as I may sound, the two of you are truly the best. It has been a great journey not only for you but for me as well. The Polk R700 is the speaker and audio product that has been consistently reviewed as a product that is far better than its price suggests and will fit in the budget of so many people. One suggested for next year, if it is possible and samples are available, how about reviewing a TV that is in that would fall in the mid priced market. I’m with Kristi when it comes to TV’s. I just want to open up a box, set it up and enjoy without having to worry about calibrating the TV. Kind of a Polk R700 of the TV world.
Always love seeing your face in the comments, Brian. As for TVs - as Andrew mentioned, we are often among the last of the channels to get TVs for reviews and with supply issues being what they are, I think it was even harder to get them this year. We are typically at the mercy of what brands will send and they don't usually send entry or mid tier models. We've bought cheaper models ourselves to review but to be honest, we found not many watched those - as I think they are buying them based on price and aren't really interested in watching a review. This ultimately results in a lower ROI for us which impacts decisions on the channel. Hopefully, that helps offer a bit of insight. We mentioned the TCL (link in desx) in the TV category. It's one that we still use and love. Not sure it's the Polk of TVs but it's very enjoyable.
…and the Award goes to Andrew and Kristi for Entertainers of the year 2022!!! 🎉👏🏻🥳 I love all of your reviews and especially this year end one…the products you both chose were pretty much spot on…my favorite category is Best Home Audio Design bc for me it not only needs to sound amazing but look aesthetically, beautiful! I also would’ve chose the KEF LS60 Wireless! Thanks again for another great year!!!
I would second that. I think I align more with Kristis layman style input, but I also really enjoy Andrews perspective and deeper dive on products. Great yin and yang combo. Love it.
I love the spectrum of products you both pick year in and out and the metrics you use to evaluate products. I also love the passion you both bring to every episode.
I just have to tell you both how enjoyable your channel is. You’re personable, relatable, informative, and engaged with your audience. Keep doing exactly what you’re doing; you knock it out of the park.
I purchased Polk R700s based on your review and wow, I agree, what an amazing sounding speaker for $2000+/pair. I gave my son my 20y old massive Von Schweikerts after I moved to a smaller place, I'm glad I didn't move them a 1000 miles.
I have the r600’s and r400 and absolutely love them. I have a massive subwoofer to help on the lower end so I am good not having the r700. Nice to see Polk get the some praise.
It took almost 2 months for my R700’s to arrive but the wait was worth it. You are absolutely correct when you say different speakers do this or that a little better, but no speaker does everything right that the R700 does for anywhere near the price. I think what Polk did was they simply took the Legand speaker and put it in a plain Jane wrapper for a fraction of the money and absolutely hit a home run. When the lights are dimmed and the music sounds this damn good, who cares about the furniture grade finish on the speakers! Thank you Polk!
Amazing. Thank you so much for putting in the time and effort to bring us these results! I appreciate all the reviews that kristi and andrew bring us year after year. Looking forward to 2023! Thanks again guys
I'm not the least bit surprised that the r700 Polk speakers took product of the year. I have the very similar l600 Towers and they are amazing. I was unable to find a better pair of speakers that did not cost $20,000 plus a pair. Never thought I would become a polk fanboy but here we are. Great Sound at a fraction of the cost makes me an unbelievably happy camper. Thanks for turning me on to Polk Andrew!
First I think that you give good info. Info that is helpful. We purchased a JBL 5.1 based on your reviews. This is for our Sony 60" in the kitchen. We also purchased an LG C2 OLED . Also based on your review. This channel makes it very clear that there is not just one product that is the absolute best, it depends. This is reinforced by the two opinions, often coming from completely different perspectives. We like and enjoy our purchases and will in the first quarter be purchasing a Q990B.
Thank you both so much for your work this year! I am over the moon happy with my R700's and never would have given them a second thought if you had not reviewed them. Other than the finish, it is if they were tailor made for my tastes. /Cheers!
I was here, cooking up dinner while watching this video with much interest! It's funny and ironic (considering the great discussion in your review of the polk r700) the validation I felt seeing you pick the polk r700 that I recently bought! The validation, that someone else confirms officially like this that they like the speaker as much as I do. 😅 It feels even better since I was far along in my plans to buy much more expensive speakers before hearing about the r700. I auditioned several speakers in stores at least twice the price of the polk, and liked the sound of the polk better! So much for thinking I needed to spend something like 6-10 K$ on floor standers to get good enough sound to be satisfied. Allthough, I admit the design and finish of more expensive options were pretty great. The r700's look good enough, and performs amazingly.
Great to see the best items from '22 in one place. i own none of them and still manage good sound :) Thanks for your expertise & time rounding everything up and sharing online. Great work!
I really look forward to your awards episode and this channel shot to the top of my audio/home theater channels. Glad to see the Polk R700 get some love (since your advice led me to grab a pair and I LOVE them).
My best of was the Onkyo TR-Z50 as a pre/pro and the 2-ch Emotiva Bass X. When you combine the price of those two together and look at what you have, nothing comes close for less than 2k more. Thanks for the heads up on that Onkyo.
Happy owner of the Elysian 4 here! I chose them after demoing a lot of incredible speakers. I'm glad you liked them. They don't get too much exposure in youtube.
Thank you, this was really fun! Awards are important, even if only to take a pause, and present a clear reflection on what happened during the past year. And of course we are here Kristi's take, she can balance everything out as style/design matters.
Amazing that you guys reviewed so many awesome products this year. I’ve personally found each and every video informative and very entertaining. Definitely my favorite channel of the year!
Thanks a lot Andrew. I've been wanting the Polk R700 but they've been sold out the past 4 months. This video makes sure they will be sold out for the next 6 months.
Yeah, I feel lucky! Ordered mine and got them within 3 weeks. But maybe they had some in stock here in Scandinavia. The (well deserved) hype hadn't reached us yet maybe. 😅
I like Kristi's final choice. That is a nice speaker. My God it looks good! And as to whether or not awards matter, I think some viewers should lighten up just a bit and have some fun with this. Ultimately, we should be in this for the fun, and there's no need to be angry and feel insulted as I am sure A and K have no interest in that.
My products of the year are my Crown Straight Line Two preamp and my Crown Power Line Three power amp. Let me explain. I carried these two units into my local audio/video dealer who had the Mcintosh MAC7200 receiver that I wanted to audition. They got them set up so we could compare them back and forth through a pair of Klipsch slim floor standing speakers. Both amps were set for a flat response and after listening for a while we agreed that the Mcintosh sounded a bit better. But just a bit. I then went over to my preamp and gave the treble and bass a bit of a boost (where I usually have them set) and the comparison evened itself out. I said to the guy, "I think I just saved myself $8000.00." My Crowns are 40 years old. The guy that sold them to me said, "You're going to have these for the rest of your life." He knew what he was talking about. I recently had the Crowns recapped due to their age and was surprised that I didn't hear much, if any difference in the sound. How about that? My speakers? ESS AMT 1a's.
Kristi's: "You guys have feelings” was so funny when discussing the feedback on TVs. Loved this episode as much as any TV show or other form of entertainment. Was fun. I knew the R700s would be getting some love. I have been happy with my CXA81 but now you have me looking at the 40N. Appreciate the channel Andrew and Kristi. I would do a miscellaneous category next year where a streamer or in-ceiling speaker or some other oddball thing might get some attention.
Great video guys! You have definitely become my favourite TH-cam channel this year and most excited to watch, wether I can buy the products or not, it’s not just about that, it’s entertainment value and your personalities that make the channel shine! Congrats on a great year!
ya know I'm glad to see the r700, it's such a great buy. the thing is most people don't care as much about the visuals and I feel like that's the main difference between the concept 50 and lumina v for the vast majority of people. especially for those looking to build a system once and never change it, it's just too good of a deal.
I bought the Polk R700 and Rotel RA-1592mkii this year based on your reviews. I can't be happier with the choices I made, and trust I putted in yor works. Thanks again! Now I'm trying not to look back at the Marantz 40n :D
Thanks so much for your work! I am a total noob and half the time I have no clue what you are talking about when you describe how something sounds, but I love your chemistry and your passion for this hobby!
Of all the “best of the year” that come around this time every year , I always enjoy yours the most and can’t wait for it to drop. If you only knew how much money your reviews have cost me over the years…
Thank you Andrew and Kristi for all you do! Even my wife now gets excited for audio stuff (my wallet not so much). Mcintosh is hopefully my next integrated.
Pulled the trigger this Christmas finally and got myself a home theater starter kit with A95K 65' with Klipsch 5.1 from Costco and Cinema 50(got 60 at first but swapped it due to more channels). Pretty damn happy with it and it feels like the more I listen to it the better it sounds. Not so sure about my neighbors though. I just think everyone should invest in something like this if you watch a movie at least once a week, the joy you get from it is far beyond the money you spent. Happy Holidays everyone.
Just wanted to say thanks for all the good work - the production quality is also superb. I am making some major purchases this month and your reviews have been immeasurably helpful.
Thanks for a great year, guys!!! This was fun. I only purchased one new piece this year because 21 was expensive. I picked up the CSS Audio TD1X kit and I’m amazed. After your vid, I might need to sell my NAD C388 and get the Marantz.
So pumped to see the X95K get called out as TV of the YEAR!! I just bought one a couple weeks ago and have been AGONIZING over whether I made the right choice or not given all the options out there. I am coming to the conclusion that yes, indeed, I did make a good purchase and that it is a good TV for my needs :)
You 2 are so right together in this endeavor; God bless you all going forward!! FYI: the $1800 Emotiva XPA-DR2 Gen 3 Differential Reference Amp has 600wpc fully discrete modules. I am powering it into a 2ohm load and it never breaks a sweat. Yes I am making it work hard during burn in. Largest and most powerful Class AB amp I have ever owned & would love you to review it.
I hope you can get you hands on some Ascend Acoustic, Salk or Philharmonic speakers. They are awesome. As well as some other components from some Canadian brands like Anthem and Bryston. Can you start to post your calibration results with TVs? S95B has been shown to be much more accurate out of the box than X95K. Is it just set by set variation?
brought the 40n based on your review..... I could not be happier!!! it really sound very good and is cheaper than all your other nominees in my country
As far as TV goes I bought the Sony Z9K, the X95ks big brother with 8k and brighter. The X95k is a awesome pick and a lot cheaper, everyone who bought one seem happy. I ended up with enough toy money to treat myself to a TV I normally wouldn't consider and I'm quite happy with it.
I have never seen such a diversity of products arrive at the audio universe with such clever design signatures. This is where my curiosity begins - always, and then I delve deeper. I think your considerations for a best of designation were sound. And , of course, we are the winners when we find our best choice.
That is some sick timing! I was literally looking on your 2021 products of the year videos and I was wondering why you hadn't done one for 2022.... 60 minutes later here we have it :)
I believe that Marantz has probably one of the best lineups of AV Receivers. I personally own a SR7008, 2012 model line. It replaced a Pioneer Elite that honestly broke 3 years in. Music Direct recommended the Marantz for its sound quality etc. I run the Focal 1027be’s as mains and Focal ceiling speakers. Unit is flawless!
Like I said before I have all the Polk audio lsi m series of speakers. They are awesome , but I'm going to buy the audio R 700 speakers just because I'm very curious to see how good they really are. Have a great day and a blessed life !
do you have a "how to" video for TV calibration? I was looking, but I didn't see it. If you are not interested in one, do you have something / someone you recommend?
Polk R700 as overall? SHOCKING! Polk has certainly reached heights here to fore never achieved. The air is thin up there!! Great end of the year guys! Kristi, for this entry, you should have been on camera. No Excuses! The reviews are no longer Andrew solos. Your input has made a huge difference. We long haulers of Andrew's reviews ( like me from the very beginning) know and have seen how you've brightened everything including Andrew. Thank you so much so let's get you on camera for 2023. I like the picks for 2022. Blessings to you both🙏
@@danhunt48 I HIGHLY recommend them. Especially if they are on sale. I have the R400 center and it matches up pretty well. I’m sure that the R700’s are a great buy as well; they came out after I got my legendary towers and they are a much better buy… unless you have the money to spend on the legendary’s!
Glad to see Kristi loves those Q Acoustics....I use 3030i's for mains and a Concept Center (one of the most underappreciated centers of all time) Love the Q sound and Q quality.
They are ok, they sound a lot like a bookshelf with a cheap sub to be honest. The better deal is the r200 and has a more cohesive sound, just can’t go quite as loud.
love your pics! Great video. Well I just bought 1 or the 3 that were on your top pic. R-700 on the way, Maranatz 50 had it for 3 weeks and I was surprised that the XPA HC-1 did not make the list. I have a pair delivering today. On the R-700 video I did know exactly what you were saying. You are 100% right on. I like you Andrew I have spent crazy money on audio over many years. The industry really does need a change!
Why would be people be mad for the Sony X95K? It's the best TV in regards to picture quality(superior color coverage, best picture processing) of the year hands down. If you are more into gaming then yes the best is the C2.
Thanks for all the hard work you two. As far as the question at the end, my only suggestion might be for the speaker categories is to separate floor standing/stand mount and bookshelf as many are only interested in one or the other.
Thanks for all the hard work in 2022! Looking forward to more "Kristi's Take" in 2023 and beyond. If time permits, it would be really cool if you could do a "Kristi's $xxx system" and explain why you selected components.
Hello, I enjoy your videos a lot and after watching best of 2022, I had a big smile. So, after your Polk R700 review, I decided to get a pair and have been very happy so far. Thank you guys!…..
Best hifi product of 2022? This channel 👍 Seriously... Not knowing anything about high end audio and separates, I started watching this channel about a year ago (and going back through the older videos). It has been fun, entertaining and informative. I have gone from knowing literally nothing to understanding about impedance and sensitivity. Unfortunately, budget and space means I can't buy the products I see you reviewing at the moment, but at least I am well informed for if/when my fortunes turn around (a Roksan Attessa and those new Mission speakers would be nice!). It's got me into watching other channels as well (such as Cheap Audio Man and Darko Audio, which are both great in different ways), but this is my #1 go to channel for information and entertainment 👍 The addition of Kristi to the channel has really added huge value... having that second perspective really rounds out the reviews. If you ever come to England, I'll happily buy you both a beer... Cheers and merry Christmas 🍻🎅
Solid choices for all. LG OLED - set it to Filmmaker Mode and forget it... Sony Master Series OLED (I know, you didn't review one) - set it to Theater Mode and forget it.... No futzing, unless you need absolute perfection. But I'm confident, the theater/filmmaker modes get you 97% of the way to as perfect as these TVs can get. Speaker steal of the year? Revel M16 (still only $700/pair) ;)
LG Oled can be set indeed to Filmmaker mode. I also put it in cinema mode with certain content in Netflix. With the Sony, same indeed. Cinema mode or theater mode, how you wanna call it, gives a very nice picture. Not to Blue, and certainly not soap opera-ish. If you use a LG for gaming, I would recommend calibrating the SDR and HDR modes (PS5 and Xbox are almost identical). One of the things to do is setting the white balance to around 6500. This is in the menu, under image, color, white balance, and then color temp and put it on 50. Forgive me for some words if they be slightly off, my menu's in the TV are all in my native language, Dutch not English. You could check Classies youtube video's about this, for more info.
Hi Guys, just wanted to say thank you for being honest about the R700 you are right this is the last speaker I will buy. I have had so many over the years and sonically and range this has it all. It replaced my Focal Electra hands down. Been loving it for a year now and and can not recommend it enough
Great job, guys! I have heard the Polk's, and yes, they are fantastic. The one thing, though, that I always do look for in components or speakers, is how would they sound with my existing system. Not fair, I know, since I am a diehard SET tube amp lover, but that's how I roll. By the way, I wish Klipsch would offer as a regular option the finish that you guys have on yours, and if I had the room, they would probably replace my Heresy IV's. Thanks again for another great year of reviews!
Enjoyed this episode! So many of us are chest bursting with pride about the visual aspect of the hobby, and yet so many of us neglect the furniture. Seems to be a certain way that our systems are supposed to look. It can be architecturally pleasant as well as just display. Doesn't have to cost a fortune!
Great video as always, and thx so much for the hard work this year! My personal fav product of the year was the Sony A95k QD-Oled. Love love love that TV. Hopefully you guys are able to get your hands on it would love to know both of your thoughts.
Second time watching this. I think what I like about the selection of the Polk Audio R700 in this video is that the original review took place half a year ago. Unlike even more recent reviews...this is a product that is still outlasting the "test of time". Thanks for a great year of product reviews!
Good choices, I just bought your pick of best avr of 2021 Onkyo TX-RZ50 and I love it just wondering how you would compare it to the Integra you picked for this year?
Since you asked , I would differentiate the speakers a bit more in terms of strictly music playback vs. HT because some people may prioritize one over another and then mention certain favorite combos as well. For example, if your Cornwalls with a SET amp is your ultimate combo strictly for music, it would be interesting to know. Or maybe I should say, do a separate all time favorites video of amp plus speaker combo's would be really interesting.
My thoughts: On the categories, it might make sense to split off dedicated amps into their own category. Then still have AV Receiver, and Stereo Receiver / Integrated Amps in their own categories. Also if you happened to be able to test a few of them, a category for AV processors would be cool. I would love to see what you think of the Marantz AV10 or Anthem AVM 70 8K for example. I know you have talked about expanding your channel, this would be a good way to get some slightly upmarket exposure. These would be great for testing next year. 2-channel preamps would also be worth considering, but I don't feel like that is as much as what your channel about.
A great summation of the best audio/video gear of the year. To own any of the nominees is to own a damned fine piece of gear. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you both. 🎉🙌🍻
Idea for another video. Compare 2021 winners to 2022 winners? Maybe not A/B testing since I'm sure stuff has been returned/sold, but it would be nice to see how these impressions change over time. (Next year, I'll suggest 2021 to 2022 to 2023 winners)
Thanks for all the great videos in 2022 (so far 😂). Found the whole thing super interesting. Nice to see reminders of all the brilliant products that have come out hopefully the Polk r700’s success will help push other manufacturers to find ways to give more sound quality at a lower price (especially with people having less hobby money).
Thank you both for all the reviews you've posted this year. The production values alone make your videos worth watching, not to mention all the valuable information they contain. Hope you have a wonderful holiday season and a terrific new year!

What was the stinker of the year?
Considering for years I never considered Polk one of the best, you guys are right - Polk hit this so far out of the park it blew my mind - bought a set based on your recommendations. The best buy I've made this year, and thank you both!
Great job, praying the judges are kind on you.
I applaud you did not include the incomplete products as they will come into their own with Dirac 4 discrete subs.
For 2023 can you please include two categories of processor and power amps?
Polk R700, LS60 wireless or Beolab 28?
@@wendellfonseca4545 Bought the R700 after my Onkyo RZ50 was delivered.
Andrew and Kristi. Just a quick comment on how grateful I am to you two for your honest, entertaining and common sense reviews and how they have influenced me. I got it for only $1300 during the sale and I don't think I can build a better sound system for both movie and music buying seperate AV receiver, speakers and a subwoofer for $2000 (msrp). So glad you are happy with it and yep, you got a great deal. It's more expensive at the moment amzn.to/3ck5Aws but still worth every penny.

It feels even better since I was far along in my plans to buy much more expensive speakers before hearing about the r700.
They're really good! Thanks for tuning in!
I bought the Technics SU G700M2 and paired it with the Q Acoustics Concept 50’s based on your reviews. Very happy with the choices.
Well I know that sounds magical. So glad you're happy with them. For those curious, this is what Willie has: bit.ly/3b37Wi8 + bit.ly/3b0IbQ2
My best of was the Onkyo TR-Z50 as a pre/pro and the 2-ch Emotiva Bass X. When you combine the price of those two together and look at what you have, nothing comes close for less than 2k more.
Thanks for the heads up on that Onkyo.
It's exceptional and still amazing in 2022! For those curious, you can get one here bit.ly/3n6DSX9.
Klipsch RP 8000F II
Vincent SV273MK II
Happy owner of the Elysian 4 here! I chose them after demoing a lot of incredible speakers. I'm glad you liked them. They don't get too much exposure in youtube.
They are exceptional!
Thank you so much Alex!
Says you'll get them in 4-6 weeks here bit.ly/3RcQR5Z
That was just so much fun to watch and to feel being part of! Thank you for what you do and the the way you both go about doing it.
What a sweet comment. Thank you for being here!
@@KristiWright - Your more than welcome. What about a streamer category too?
Love the format and the calmness and factual way you do reviews. The interaction with your wife is fantastically done.
Much appreciated!
Congratulations to Polk. They've clearly delivered.
The r700s musically are awesome and wont let you down for movies. Great choices.
❤❤❤
ya know I'm glad to see the r700, it's such a great buy. the thing is most people don't care as much about the visuals and I feel like that's the main difference between the concept 50 and lumina v for the vast majority of people. especially for those looking to build a system once and never change it, it's just too good of a deal.
Haven't watched the video yet (watching now)...but this is why this is my favorite time of the year! Best HiFi!
Watching it alongside you Bryan! Thanks for joining us!
I bought the Polk R700 and Rotel RA-1592mkii this year based on your reviews. I can't be happier with the choices I made, and trust I putted in yor works. Thanks again! Now I'm trying not to look back at the Marantz 40n :D
Thank you, and if I may, you don't need the 40n if you have the 1592MKII. Have a great day!
Thanks so much for your work! I am a total noob and half the time I have no clue what you are talking about when you describe how something sounds, but I love your chemistry and your passion for this hobby!
Thank you so much!
You got me u 2. Ordered the rz-50 AND the polk R700. Thanks for your great videos, regards jannick 🇩🇰
I STILL go bac k and listen to your review of the R700, you two.
I've watched it 10 times, an excellent and insightful review
Of all the “best of the year” that come around this time every year , I always enjoy yours the most and can’t wait for it to drop. If you only knew how much money your reviews have cost me over the years…
Thank you Andrew and Kristi for all you do! Even my wife now gets excited for audio stuff (my wallet not so much). Mcintosh is hopefully my next integrated.
Thank you for watching Victor!
Edit: I did get a 40n thanks to you and I love it 💪🏻
The most amazing thing about the Polk R700s is that I could probably afford them.
Congrats on the system. It’s important you are enjoying it right off the bat. Stay there awhile before the endless journey continues.
Thanks for another year! And another reason to place that order for the Polk R700's. I've been putting it off too long.
Just wanted to say thanks for all the good work - the production quality is also superb. I am making some major purchases this month and your reviews have been immeasurably helpful.
So glad to hear it! Appreciate you tuning in and for all your support!
How about an educational video about calibration? I believe many people here will appreciate it and will learn a lot from you Andrew and Kristi!
I second this, please….?
Thanks for a great year, guys!!! This was fun. I only purchased one new piece this year because 21 was expensive. I picked up the CSS Audio TD1X kit and I’m amazed. After your vid, I might need to sell my NAD C388 and get the Marantz.
Thanks for watching, Travis. No need to chase the rabbit unless you're unhappy with what you have, especially if it puts financial strain on you.
Each and every hi-fi products in my house is cause of Andrews reviews
My list:
JBL 5.1
LG OLED C2
Thanks keep it going
So pumped to see the X95K get called out as TV of the YEAR!! I just bought one a couple weeks ago and have been AGONIZING over whether I made the right choice or not given all the options out there. I am coming to the conclusion that yes, indeed, I did make a good purchase and that it is a good TV for my needs :)
Could have got the c2, better tv and less money
@@jerry4012 I have the Sony A80K that I am comparing it too as well. May end up going with that.
Sony X95K TV is awesome - I recently purchased 75 inch and I love it
wow awesome enjoy.
Nice work on the video and putting this altogether. I REALLY appreciate your comments at the start about the cake needing to be fully baked!
That’s great! So glad to hear it’s working for you!
We got you Navid! Thanks for tuning in!
I'll let you know as soon as they arrive R700 and R400 center
do you have a "how to" video for TV calibration?
Blessings to you both🙏
AGREED!! I own the Polk L600’s and they have impressed me more than any other speakers I have ever owned
I'm seriously contemplating them for several reasons. Build quality, exterior are beautiful and the L400 center would match.
I am now convinced that the Polk r700 is the product of the year I will be purchasing it. Thanks to you and Christy for the great content.
Mine are on backorder, but soon they'll be here! 100% because of Andrew Robinson's review. I just trust them!
Thanks for all your awards winners. Great job
Why would be people be mad for the Sony X95K? It's the best TV in regards to picture quality(superior color coverage, best picture processing) of the year hands down. If you are more into gaming then yes the best is the C2.
Great! Fun review! Love your pick of the Polk and your reasons why.
Thanks for all the hard work you two. As far as the question at the end, my only suggestion might be for the speaker categories is to separate floor standing/stand mount and bookshelf as many are only interested in one or the other.
🔥Where are my people? 😂
Team Kristi! And Andrew :)
Lost track of time. But im here now with coffee in hand!
Thanks for all the hard work in 2022! Looking forward to more "Kristi's Take" in 2023 and beyond. If time permits, it would be really cool if you could do a "Kristi's $xxx system" and explain why you selected components.
You and Andrew are our "Cool Cats of the Year". ....... Many Thanks and Continue to be You. 🍎
Sup guys!
Andrew, would be great if you can add best combo of the year. Example speaker with amp, receiver etc….
The project speaker box and r700 won because those are some nice looking speakers for a Robinson household 😊and they sound amazing for the price too 🙂
Hello, I enjoy your videos a lot and after watching best of 2022, I had a big smile. So, after your Polk R700 review, I decided to get a pair and have been very happy so far. Thank you guys!…..
So glad to hear that, Kam!
Best hifi product of 2022?
This channel 👍
Seriously...
It's got me into watching other channels as well (such as Cheap Audio Man and Darko Audio, which are both great in different ways), but this is my #1 go to channel for information and entertainment 👍
The addition of Kristi to the channel has really added huge value... having that second perspective really rounds out the reviews.
@@RonWillemsen- Thankfully I'm not a gamer. :)
Hi Guys, just wanted to say thank you for being honest about the R700 you are right this is the last speaker I will buy. I have had so many over the years and sonically and range this has it all. It replaced my Focal Electra hands down. Been loving it for a year now and and can not recommend it enough
Once again, excellent reviews and picks! Cheers to another great year in 2023! Thanks for all you do! You should be very proud!
Great video guys. I'm just curious where you now place a system like the Sony hta9 with the sw5 sub? Would this system call for a new category?
The only category I think you could add is a best bang-for-the-buck product of the year.
Thank you both for all of the great reviews. You are a big reason why I decided to start my journey into this hobby.
❤
Second time watching this. I think what I like about the selection of the Polk Audio R700 in this video is that the original review took place half a year ago. Unlike even more recent reviews...this is a product that is still outlasting the "test of time". Thanks for a great year of product reviews!
i already have a great system, but i cant stop watching this channel
I'm still using two receivers from 2002!
Good choices, I just bought your pick of best avr of 2021 Onkyo TX-RZ50 and I love it just wondering how you would compare it to the Integra you picked for this year?
Love you guys! Great video like always and amazing year! Keep doing amazing work ❤
The R700 has had the same effect on me as the Dalquist DQ 10 when I first bought them too many years ago to remember.
Thank you, Sean and wishing you and your family you the best.
Our pleasure; wishing you the same.
