Since Aidan got disqualified for seemingly no reason whatsoever and ruined the chances of Malta qualifying to the final of ESC 2023 i have to say this, Malta still has a chance to qualify to the final of ESC 2023 if they select the following artists down below that had a really good song imo, also this is in no particular ranking it's just what i think has the chances to win MESC and qualify to the final of ESC 2023. This NF does have some good songs, but the issue is the overload of dodgy ones, and too much songs at the same time. Best choice for a result: Mikhail (The full package and Maltese suits this style of song. Great vocals and great guy) The Busker (Modern and would get a lot of public votes. Charismatic lead singer) Matt Blxck (Fun and catchy) Other good choices but would fall short narrowly: Brooke (I can see this on stage in Liverpool and she's a great performer. The song is good but needs a revamp) The Clintess (Lovely ballad and a deep message but would it get lost?) Maxine (It's a shame the juries aren't in the semis as they'd lap up this song and voice. Shame as she's good) Cheryl Balzan - (Rock chick and good song) (Aidan would have fell into this category but is DQd) The rest...well considering there are some decent songs wouldn't do anything at Eurovision. Also ban Ylva and Linda from every selection! Quantity over Quality seems to be the game here from Malta. There are 10-15 songs that could make a final. Should have kept it as a one nighter.
