I met after a 51 year gap my first love and on July 29th the anniversary of our meeting we are going to design together our diamond wedding rings. We are going to retire and start a holiday business together which was always my dream. Finally I have my life complete .
I lost my soul dog at the end of June. I miss my boy everyday, the house feels empty. I’m afraid that I will start to forget about him. I feel bad on days I don’t grieve deeply. I’ve debated rescuing another dog (I love animals). I just feel so conflicted, but maybe August is the time for opening up my home to a new best friend?
I lost my husky gal of 16 years JANE in April and I buried her close to my cabin. I don't forget her and I know I will see her again . She even saved me from a young grizzly bear a year before she passed. I live in Alaska. I miss her so much. She was my hiking buddy ! I have two cats that were with her for A year before her death. She was good to them . My one cat lays often in the spot where Jane always slept. It hurts but truly it was her time to leave me.
