WOW, just freaking WOW!!!! Your patience is mind blowing. It looks carved and the reverse cutting/glueing...ingenious. You would NEVER know it was foam board. I MAY attempt on a smaller scale. I was a bit confused as to which to glue though. WOW👏👏

I just did a very similar painting for my dining area...Painted canvas brown/black...very dark. Painted leaf with a golden color. Came out amazing. Much quicker and simpler. This is absolutely astounding, tho!
