Sean, you are lucky to have a Filipino husband. I'm Japanese but have a lot of Filipino friends who introduced me to longinisa. If you pour the drippings on rice, it tastes soooo good. I hope he makes you other Filipino dishes too, like pork/chicken adobo, chicken with green papaya soup, or pinakbet.

A month apart seems like a very long time. I think this kind of distance is only plausible with the tech to communicate so easily. I know Earls is a urban planner (?), I think, so thankfully he probably has work friends. Earl, you have family in Korea so it's important to see them. Earl's family lives in the USA, which is pretty far away, but maybe you have family in the Philippines still as well? Wow. So spread out. I guess...that might be the norm these days. I lived in California my whole life, near San Francisco until I got an opportunity to live in Seattle for two years. It felt like another country. But I'm so grateful for the experience. Glad you guys have reunited. Sean, you look good with a little scruff.

At 10:15 looking at your breakfast, to an American, the presence of rice 🍚 seems quite odd. Sausages and fried eggs are normal, but I have come to realize that Philippines really LOVE rice… often many times a day. I have rice maybe once every two weeks. 🤷🏻♂️
