Hey Mike! Like the video! Just wanted to tell you that you can wire your truck side trailer plug to the battery and that allows your trailer to charge from your truck as long as you’re hooked up. We have dump trailers and I had the power issue untill I figured this out. We can run the trailer all day long dumping and we never loose power. Just remember to unplug the trailer if the truck sits hooked up over a long period of time like a weekend or holiday.
26:28 There are also hinges at the back of the dump to pivot the bed that need to be greased. I have probably a dozen grease zerks on my PJ Trailer. Overall, like you say, one of the best assets for a landscape business and relatively inexpensive for the work they perform.
We personally prefer the dump trailers due to the weight capacity. To have a dump truck that can haul 10K pounds you would need a 550 or 650 which are very expensive. And the dump trailers can be used (easier) for equipment transport, compared to dump trucks. Also, less maintenance we have found since all the weight isn’t being put on an engine, chassis, etc

Exactly man! Even the hoist dump kit you can put in trucks and trailer to convert them to dump “trailer or truck bed” great investment.

Why don't you plug your trailer into the truck to charge the battery? I never charge our dump trailers battery.
