Android app takes a lot of time to load captions and is very unstable. TH-cam on browser is recommended.
iPhone/iPad app can show captions at only 5 fps, and captions may lag the app.
(Unlike Bad Apple!!, the captions are 10 fps due to size limitation)

@@Martian_1336 It's part of the captions system. If you want an example of the full extent of what youtube captions can do beyond "just text" I suggest the hololive anime series, they're the only people I know that are taking full advantage of it.

I didn't think the bad apple subtitle video could be improved upon, but it has. OtterSou is a legend for doing this, if he wasn't already from the bad apple subtitle video at least. Ok this man has outdone himself, someone give him a medal. Also, colored subtitles?????? THAT EXISTS?!?!?!
Now all we need is for screens that can create and remove bumps, and for the video to be reformatted to 6x2 sets... then let the rickrolling blind people begin. 100% Blind people may not be able to see this masterpiece or feel the flat dots, but anyone can learn about and admire this talent that is rickrolling using subtitles.

Removing captions would mean most deaf people (and people that want to watch videos in other languages that they cant understand) wouldn't be able to enjoy the majority of videos in the site, which means less users, and that's something TH-cam probably doesn't want.
