My Song Choreography Sagí Amir Gross Dance Shirley Esseboom

'My song', is a creation about transition, self discovery and new realisations. Back then, during the creation period, Shirley just had her sweet baby girl, who was often with us in the studio. 'My song' was a special collaboration and I am thankful for that. In Hebrew Shir = Song and Ley = Mine. A phenomenal, non compromising artist and most importantly an inspiring humble human being. We both had to get completely out of our comfort zone. Every moment and detail in this choreography was specially sculptured in to her body, in order to refer our meeting point in life.
I have finally edited a short trailer for 'My song' which is originally a 25min solo. It took me 3 days of an 'on & off' editing process and the result is in these 2 min video. Thank you Shirley for the trust and the unforgettable wonderful artistic journey and tour together. While creating for you, I have learned a lot.
