@@craigcampbell1843 ya it’s pricey but I (and my family) really enjoyed it. Add on a little regional wine tasting (purchases) and it’s a fun weekend. An occasional splurge is fun.
@@cato451 my girlfriend was just complaining that we don’t go on dates anymore and also that I’ve seen fire flies and she never has. Since I can’t afford to take her to the east coast I figured this would be the next best thing. We aren’t really into wine but we love disc golf and there is a fun and romantic disc golf course in the vineyard at Castoro Cellars/Whale Rock that we haven’t gone to in years so we’ll play there first and then go to the exhibit. Just haven’t had a reason to go to Paso Robles in a long time until I saw this video. Good timing given her recent complaints. Haha
Our whole family went to see this and it was magical. Some of the oak trees there are beautiful silhouetted in front of the setting sun. It just gets better as it gets darker.
My wife and I just passed by this place on the way to SLO today! Definitely on our list of things to do by the end of the year! Thanks for another inspiring video.
I'm not sure if it's the same artist, but I saw this a few years ago in the beforetimes, I believe in AZ. The bottle towers with light were the same. It was stunning, so I'm sure this one is as well! Good video!
I saw this before the pandemic, super amazing. Do not get the VIP if they still do that the food ain't that great and the drinks is meh when you are in Paso Robles. That tower thing is new, guess I gotta go again.
Amazing! It’s 4.5 hours from my home though. 😕 Might have to check it out on my next holiday weekend. Edit: Ok now I’m thinking I might combine it with a day trip to the Channel Islands!
@@californiathroughmylens Update: we are making a weekend trip out of it. Solvang during the day and lights at night. Next day we’re doing a tour of the Channel Islands 😃
Would you say it’s wheel chair accessible? My daughter loves your videos! She’s wheelchair bound and was wondering for future videos could you include if the trails and places you go to are wheelchair accessible. Thank you!
Check their website, they might of added to the wheelchair accessible section. Two years ago when we went, there were sections for wheelchair accessible quite a short bit near the front. But it was more of an overlook so you could see a lot from that spot. Perhaps they added to that,
According to their website - "Yes, all pathways throughout the venue are ADA compliant. Wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, braces, and scooters are allowed." - sensoriopaso.com/faq - Hope that helps!
I'm so excited to see this in September here in TX. I just wonder about the installation process. How daunting! And does the artist have a group of people come in to do it?
We just went there and it was super fun! It’s still there in summer 2024!
I went to see this exhibit last summer. Absolutely amazing. Must see in person to appreciate it.
How much were tickets and can you purchase them when you get there or do you have to get them in advance?
@@craigcampbell1843 they sell out so buying on site is a gamble. I purchased in advance. I think they were $35 for adults.
@@cato451 ouch. I was hoping for $10-15 but I suppose it’s a one time thing and it looks amazing. Thanks for the info.

It looks so cool. I like that you can walk through the lights and not just see it from a distance. Food trucks are a plus too. Thanks for sharing!
Me too, it was fun to just wander around and it see it from all angles.
Beautiful! There's something so serene about the lights swaying in the breeze, just like a field of flowers.
I loved to chill out with the Big Sonic Chill music for the fields of lights in Paso Robles in Sensório.
Our whole family went to see this and it was magical. Some of the oak trees there are beautiful silhouetted in front of the setting sun. It just gets better as it gets darker.
Field of Light is magnificent have to add it to my bucketlist.
This is so magical!! I had no idea this existed! Fabulous fabulous! Thank you!
Josh, you are the BEST, Thanks
Holy cow.... this is amazing. How have I not heard or seen about this??? Man... I wish this was near any future travel plans we have.
What a great video!! It's still open!!
Trip in Sept and wife wanted to go but me no until I watched your video. Thank you.

Now this is in my bucket list 🥺❤️
Thank you for sharing!! I have put it on my must see list when I visit California 😉☺️
Whoa, this is beautiful and dreamlike. I had no idea this was even in CA.
I am glad you liked the video!
I wish I would have known about this when I was out this way in August. I can't drive at night though so I will not fret. Looks so cool.
It was a lot cooler than I expected for sure!
Can’t wait to go with the family, did a similar walk in South Korea and it was really nice.
That's awesome!
We went last night! It’s an amazing magical night and if you can go, you must. Just as you said, the video and photos don’t do it complete justice.
Thanks for a great video, we will be going this year. thanks again.
I saw something similar in Phoenix a few years ago at the botanical garden. It was beautiful.
That's awesome!
Wish I was there. This is awesome!!!
We live in Paso and have been twice We went again this May
It’s fantastic you’re video really did a great job showing the beauty
So glad you have gotten to experience it, it was pretty magical when I went
I live in Paso Robles. Just went to Sensorio last weekend. It's beautiful. I need more xmas lights!
That's awesome! I loved it as well
Amazing stuff!
Having been there twice, should you go, I'd highly recommend timing your visit with the sunset.
Great suggestion, I wish I would have been a few minutes earlier
@@californiathroughmylens Thanks.
When can we visit this??! Like is it open all year long? Is it open at September 2024?
Would love to see this. Been to PR so many times. Didn3 know it was there. Beautiful
Wow..that is extraordinary....thank you for sharing 👍
No problem!
Absolutely gorgeous!!! I don't live far from there and had never heard of it. COVID blues, I guess. Need to get out more.
I know what you mean, it has been a weird year for sure
😮 Whoa! How cool 👍
That looks simply A W E S O M E !!
If this was still exhibiting in May 22 it would def be on our list 😀
Maybe it will get extended!
Good news! The art installation will now remain indefinitely.
What a great place!!
This isn’t far from me and I had no idea. Thanks for the recommendation
That's awesome! I hope you enjoy it if you go
I'm currently making the nyc one, 6 days 10 hours, should be ready b4 December
Simply WOW 😲
That looks so cool! Thanks for sharing.

Super cool!
Beautiful! Might have to go and visit. Thanks

I went in December 2019. Looks like they’ve added to it since then. They do not allow tripods in the display. I wish I knew that ahead of time.
Yea I didn't know that either, but I guess it makes sense as it would be easy to trip over them as it is pretty dark on the paths haha
I haven’t seen the light towers part and luv that u came before sunset
I think that and the fireflies are both newer.

I've been wanting to go here, very instagramable.
Amazing
I really hope I can get to this before it goes away...I live next door in AZ but a cali trip is not gonna happen anytime soon! Thanks for the info!
Hope we can make it there one day
Oh cool!!
Wow, I want to go there
You should check out holiday lights at calm in Bakersfield this December. Calm is a living museum, it's really good for kids and adults alike.

Thank you for sharing . I was wondering should I go there. The lights are beautiful.. any musics as you walk down the trails? Hard to find parking?
currently making the nyc one
Beautiful! And a great way for P.R. to get people to stay overnight.
I live 4 minutes from there!
What a cool place. Good idea for a date night. With Halloween coming up, do you know any good halloween mazes in northern california?
That is a good question. I don't know of any myself but maybe someone in the comments can share one!

pronounce the e in Robles.

Its pronounced Paso "row-bless"... not paso row-bulls tf.
