I would say that is good for you. But it's like; if you already have it and wear it, observe what energy is bringig to you. Your Sun rules 10th house, for Scorpio lagna and it's exalted in 6th house. 6th house is dushtana, but is also conected with work, health. If you experience boost in this areas, keep wearing it.
Edit: If you want even more boost in confidence, creativity, strenght etc. i will suggest you to try Red Coral or i even like more his subtitute- Carnelian. Ruby is for Sun, Coral and Carnelian for Mars- your lagna lord. Side effect can be overconfident, arogant and quarlsome personality.

@@artlover7890 I know about that topic, yogi point/nakshatra/planet. It's matematicaly caluculated, but i can't say nothing about it. Cause i never used and have no practical experience with it.
