your ABSOLUTELY on point with the interpretation. if we take into account the main theme of the upcoming album "right place wrong person" - him being the wrong person in places that seem to fit most people, feelings of isolation and alienation, and also what he has said he discovered in last couple of years (he mentioned on two seperate occasions that 1. he doesn't what to have kids and 2. that he finally realised that he doesn't have to get married and he doesn't want to)

How I interpret it is that RM is lost, wandering the maze of life, in this life we are presented with different scenarios that are considered normal. Drinking with friends at a party, Having a wife and kid, Having a relationship thats unstable, having loving parents etc. All things that generally people consider as part of life. Except Namjoon is in those scenarios and he feels like he's the only one that doesn't belong. The album name being "Right place, Wrong person" this is what you are seeing.
This is until he sees the woman who is also lost, he sees himself in her. He thought he was alone in this feeling but he finds someone he can relate to and he smiles because he knows that he's not really alone. Now in every scenario he is happy. He learns to enjoy life as it is in the present because he stopped seeking the life that he's supposed to have. This is further emphasized when he walks out of the door and out of the maze of rooms (maze of life) that was designed by society. He understands that he doesn't need to fit in a mold to be happy.

It's safe to say that almost nobody in the idol world is even experiencing what the members of BTS are going through, because idols are never meant to have staying power.
Idol music, idol groups, idols themselves were designed to be consumed, disposed, and replaced with new ones.
A very small handful of idols have careers that last this long.
It's likely the members DID expect to transition into roles of husband/father/private citizen with private lives and regular friends, and DID NOT anticipate how they are actually living. To me the video is depicting the feeling of disorientation that must come now, believing that these "normal" life tracks do not feel "right" anymore.
Then he meets a fellow traveler, Kim Min-ha, who was also plucked from obscurity and rocketed to global stardom literally overnight. They comfort each other, realize they can still live any way they want. Then the scenes replay with RM feeling like he's in the right place.
And finally he and Min-ha go back into the maze of scenes together, a little nervous, but ready to find their own right place.
The many life possibilities are confusing. In the end RM escapes the life maze to discover its an illusion. Sets designed by other people.

This video is giving me Tae's Fri(end)s vibes. In both you had everyone being loving/happy and the next minute being sad/arguing. Both had the female protagonist in the middle of the video and both had two RM's and two Tae's on screen at one time. Interesting.

So as not to be seen as looping - although i wish i could because the song is that lovely - i went to RM-Topic on YT and listened to the edited-for-radio version...listening to it with my eyes closed. I did also think there were hints of subtle jazz as well. And the way RM sung it - great tone. Comforting tone. You don't. I just finished. During watching your reaction I realized that the women at the end appears the first time after the transition RM hiding in the crib / behind the leaf of the plant. She seems to feel the same confusion as RM when she enters the room and wanders around. I feel like she is some part of his personality. Bc when they found each other everything falls into place. After they leave together they don't hold hands or anything they just leave into a different stage but now together. I know it's not about bts but it reminds me a bit of the persona area. A lot of the komplex thought back then came from RM himself and it feels to me that has the same energy /meaning. I love your interpretation. Thank you for your reaction.

A woman in the MV and the parent taking care of the baby in the cradle symbolizes ARMY,.And in the beginning, the party scene and the girl brushing her teeth with her mother mean the normal routine before go to tMilitary service. . In the middle, a woman who gets angry and looks for it expresses ARMY who is angry and sad when bts goes to the army, and a parent who looks at baby RM from the cradle means ARMY who raised them in love~
In the second half, smiling RM talks with a woman and enjoys a party with his colleagues after being discharged from the military, and the scene where he opens the door with a woman symbolizing a fan means that he will smile again with the fan because the door that was closed due to military service symbolizes suspension. And I think the MV set expresses ARMY and BTS getting along together on the concert stage! LOL
This is the right way to interpret it. It's stupid to watch the MV and simply say, "Did RM get married and give birth to a baby? Why are you fighting with a woman?"haha~~

The last scene reminds me of j-hope's 'MORE' MV
Lee Sung Jin, the MV director, said he and RM shared a lot of stories and came upon a story about a man that was stuck in a house with his PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE. Doors have always been very symbolic. The door with the three different colored circles could mean PAST, PRESENT and FUTURE . Triptych architecture in history has also had symbolisms for past, present and future or for harmony like life and death, man and woman, Yin and Yang, the moon and the sun with the middle piece being the connection, our enlightenment, a third eye, a doorway to inner happiness. Also the different colors and lighting keep changing and I believe when they finally go through the door the three colors on the door are red, green and blue and I know RM has mentioned RGB before. He's also mentioned multiverses and reading The Midnight Library (many similarities to this MV).
Right Place, Wrong Person. It's conceptional. The place isn't wrong but he (we) might feel wrong. The conceptual understanding is that we need to find ourselves, our own happiness to feel right wherever we are.
"You’re always a little nervous when you’re working with these giant global superstars. Are they going to want to rehearse? Are they going to take notes? RM was game for everything. He was there for long hours. First take of the very first scene, he bent down and his head hit the camera and it was a giant gash on his eye and immediately I thought, “Oh great, I’m going to be deported immediately because I’ve just scratched this national treasure.” To his credit, he went to the hospital, got stitched up, came back and he was ready to go. He was so versatile and open to direction and I think he was also pushing me. Hi, I love RM, and like to think about this theory, no door shows him a nice escenario, until he finds army and helps him enjoy all the escenarios and in the end he even helps him open the door that he cluldn't open, that is rediscovers his essence what it means to be the artista he is, it is just my opinión and I will continúe to love RM and BTS in all the stage of his life, greetings 🥰💜

I was waiting eagerly your reaction to this video, as I agree with your theory, the expectations and possibly that he accepts finally that it's ok not to keep up with the expectations people have about you. I think possibly another turn is that the lady at the end is Army, opening the door and accepting that whatever path in life he chooses Army will be with him. Being barefoot could potentially represent vulnerability, and with time walking barefoot you develop that calluses to be able to walk barefoot anywhere without feeling pain (which could represent building thick skin). But idk lol
