I'm in love with this layout! The mix of man-made and natural elements is so good. The climbing structures you put up for the red pandas really help to fill out the space. Also, it wouldn't be a Pacha episode without ending up on the roof ;)
I love how every time you mention how Tiergarten Schönbrunn is designed and what would be in place of this habitat, I always try to remember how it looked xD ........ gotta be honest, I have no memory of that closed shop 🤣 anyway, I really like that red panda habitat! It is looking much better then the elephant habitat irl 👀and at least it is big enough for the animals, the one in vienna is a biiiiiit small >.
@@jeantide6645 hahaha tbh I also wouldnt remember that shop if I wouldnt have my pictures and google maps! Thank god for modern technology haha😂 And thanks a lot!💚 Totally agree with you that the current elephant is a tad small, but I heard thar they are already planning to build a new and bigger one, so there is hope😊
One little point about realism that i noticed: depending on how long ago this was converted from elephants to its current form ofc, but does it make that much sense to have those huge trees in what was previously a pool, and by extention an elephant habitat in general?
Good point, tho they could just as easily moved these trees in there after the change. Leipzig Zoo planted hundreds of fully grown trees inside Gondwanaland when they constructed it.
