This is unbelievable. This is 'TEACHING' in its purest sense.
For those who are unable to find out zero faces painted , there is a simple trick i.e, subtract 2 from each of the lengths, breadth and height
. taking the same example of the video L=4 peices, B=4peices, H=4peices ,
L * B * H
(4-2) * (4-2) * (4-2) = 2*2*2 = 8 faces is not painted.
Eg.-2 rectangle L=5peices , B=6peices , H=7peices
L * B * H
(5-2)*(6-2)*(7-2) = 3*4*5 = 60 faces not painted.

For no-paint we can also subtract the summation of all painted cubes with total no. of cubes. like ,
Non painted cubes = total cubes - all types of painted cubes sum.

Could you please explain me non painted formula?
Here you go : consider the number of cubes with no side painted as the volume of a smaller cube(or cuboid within) whose edge layers are not consider. Thus, if a cube is a × a × a, then number of cubes with no face painted will be : (a-2) × (a-2) × (a-2) .
Similarly for a cuboid with a, b and c cubes along the length , breadth and height respectively. Number of no face painted cubes will be (a-2) × (b-2) × (c-2).
How can v get the full course??
Just substract all the painted cubes from total amount of pieces [ pov easiest way ]
3 face painted= 8
2 face painted = 12(x-2)
1 face painted = 6(x-2)^2
No face painted = (x-2)^3
Where, x = Root cube (Total pieces)
Or we can say , X= No of cubes in each edge
*Valid only when cuts are distributed equally

No face painted we can find more easily if we follow this.
Just in Ques 2 we have 343 cube
Add all the painted cude ( 3,2,1side) which is 218 - 343 cube = 125 unpainted cube

He is explaining in these way because if in question ask only for no face painted then we dont need to find for 1/2/3 face painted.
It can also be solved by (n-1)^3
where n is no. cuts in one dimension...

We can calculate no face painted by using a formula-[x-2][y-2][z-2] where x y z are the no. of cuts in each axis.

For no painted cubes just subtract total number of cubes from summation of all the painted cubes(any no of sides) together i.e in first eg -> 64-(8+24+24)= 8ans.

i.e 64- (24+8+24)= 8.....

Sir for no face painted if we take face centered cube even after excluding both upper n bottom layer the new cube will have 1 face painted from the front....so how can we take face centered Sir please clear the doubt🙏

To find cubes with no faces painted, we have to basically remove all the outer layers of the cube.
Sir explains it by removing the top and bottom layers initially. So a cube with 4 layers has to have the first and fourth layer removed (since the cube is painted on those layers).
What if the pieces of cube is in odd numbers . How to solve those?

If 1 side of the cube is painted red, then you need to find the number of cubes in a single layer in that dimension.
i.e., if the top of the cube is painted red, the number of cubes in the top layer will be the number of cubes painted red.
For eg. A cube of 64 pieces is painted red on one face.
Number of pieces in a single layer is 4 x 4 = 16 pieces.
Therefore, the number of pieces painted red = number of pieces in top layer = 16.
