Once youve played a few games, the layout is easy to remember.
Comparing FAB to DnD classes is a great comparison. It's often compared to games like Street Fighter.
Adult heroes are specific to Classic Constructed. Young heroes can be played in Blitz, Ultimate Pit Fight (multiplayer,) and Commoner.
CC has an "inventory" of 80 cards. The young hero formats have a 52 card inventory and a deck cap of 40 when presented at the start of game.
To play a card or attack, you declare the action first, then pitch to pay for it. Don't pitch first.
Attack, Block, Reaction Phase- Attack Reactions, Defense Reactions. When both players pass on an empty stack, you proceed to damage.
Learning the basics just takes a couple of games with someone who knows how to play. Mastering the game will take time.
Nah, gotta put the equipment into the graveyard. It matters for MST stuff.
You can't block with normal cards from arsenal, but you can play defense reactions from the arsenal.
The game is SUPER deep and you've done a good job describing the basics. 👊😎

I’ve heard you are suppose to put equipment into graveyard just never played that way! Still learning and hoping to help other people.
@@TheSmango I'd say the majority of people just flip their equipment facedown when they break. Apparently, it's always been the rule to put them into the graveyard, but people happily ignored it. 😅 With the Cloaked mechanic that came out in Part the Mistveil though, LSS reiterated the rule for everyone to put it where it belongs. No reason why they can't still be in a different sleeve or mini-snap case, but they still need to be taken off the board when they're supposed to be.
Like I said, you did a good job explaining the basics. This is a great game and the basics are all a new player really needs to get started.
Going to be making more for sure. We are gonna try to hand out some commoner decks at our local LGS. The FAB community feels super strong and growing around in eky slowly but surely
