Great work on this. This is a good option for those that don't have a compressor because looking at the videos of the DIY spray in liner, the finish on the spray in is way more consistent and much less labor intensive. For those considering your options on bed liners, look at the difference between this one and the spray in.
Just sprayed mine today and it came out real good . Also did a ford 250 and the whole flooring of a jeep . Good product for a good price . Definitely going too do my obs chevy when I get back home in california
This is a great tutorial. It's literally detailed especially for people with the same Silverado car owners. You just showed them how to save their money with this. That's a well furnished outcome. Great job.
I used this last weekend on my 06 F-250, found that using 220 grit sandpaper works much much better than the scotch bright pad. You want to make sure to remove as much of the gloss off the paint for good adhesion. Also, this product drys / cures more quickly the higher the humidity, best to do this on a higher humidity day. Plan on a good day to do this project, you can do it quicker, but good prep work is the key to making this product last a long time!
I’m surprised they only recommend that you scuff it up with that brillo pad. I expected to have to use a light or medium sanding pad. Make sure to do an update video down the road!
I’m thinking of doing this but I see they make a spray can. Do you think the spray can would be easier and more consistent with the corners and edges where the roller can’t get?
Do you think as far as finish goes, spray is the same as roll on? I dont care about difficulty Im going for thickest and coarsest possible... cant find comparisons anywhere, thanks for the video!
Thankyou. I had a feeling from reading it was pretty bad. Could wear a mask. But. I don't want to smell it forever. But this might be just part of this process ..
It started looking better once you started using the roller, instead of the brush. It was applying it thicker and more consistent.. other than that it came out good
The instructions said scuff the bed with the Scotch-Brite pad that was included in the kit which I did. it did not show up very well on the white paint but you could feel the abrasiveness that it left on the paint after I went over the whole bed. It seems to be holding up quite well so far. Thank you for watching and thank you for your comment.
I used 1 coat of this herculiner then after about 2hours of drying I used 3 cans Of raptor 1k aerosol spray ...looks beautiful I like the raptor finish but the one coat of herculiner adds thickness...so herculiner for the thickness then spray cans of raptor for the mate black finish
30 min guide how to fuck up your new truck bed. That stuff is terrible for a long run, Wait till he finds out its gonna cost 3 times as much to put a real liner in when that fails.
Looks good. I'm going to do this to my 86 c10 this weekend. Thanks for the video.

Great Job on this, was one gallon enough for 2 coats?

So basically any day in Mississippi lolol
Great video. The camera man was solid.
Thanks so much for the comment 😎
Like the video man. How's it held up?
I suggest an electric sander with 150 grit paper it made it way easier and more affective
Awesome job brother 👍🏽
Now that its been 4 years , how is it holding up? Im thinking of doing this to my 2011 Ford Ranger.
I wish I could say but I sold the truck 2 years ago, however it was still looking good 👍
Watching your Videos for your perks Thank You!
Nice sharing in installing friend, .
The finish is wearing off my Ford F150 power running boards from 8 years of use. I wonder if this
would work to re-coat/re-finish?
Well not sure 🤔 but maybe
not bad, $100 and a few hours of work better than $500-600 (not even sure what a shop is charging currently)

Looks Great,! Trying that on my F350..
I’m thinking of doing this but I see they make a spray can. Do you think the spray can would be easier and more consistent with the corners and edges where the roller can’t get?
I used a paint brush and used the spray can for places I could see but not reach , then used the spray for final touches

Spray on is easier faster and a better finished appearance.
Very impressive DIY work sir...I salute you for being a hardworking man....new friend here floro
Hey. Nice job. I want to use this on the sides of a truck. My main question is kind of stupid but how bad was the smell of the product?
Man it is strong and it’s strong for weeks even after it dries ,, I’m not sure I would do that
Thankyou. I had a feeling from reading it was pretty bad. Could wear a mask. But. I don't want to smell it forever. But this might be just part of this process ..
thanks for the video , and i think im gonna give it a try
That's great.hello your new friend sending support keep safe
Man i just ordered this but it loooks clumpy..its not like a flat black bed spray?
It started looking better once you started using the roller, instead of the brush. It was applying it thicker and more consistent.. other than that it came out good

I think you should have scuffed up the paint more, I see alot of shine. Instructions say that it's key to success. I hope it holds up
Your right sir thank you 😊 glad to heard that thanks for sharing your comment
What is timeline for the liner to totally cure?
It Says 24 Hours But I Gave Mine a Full 2 Days , Its Dry To The Touch In About 18 Hours. Temp Has A lot To Do With It.

I think you needed to scuff up the bed finish prior to applying the liner. let us know how its holding up.
The instructions said scuff the bed with the Scotch-Brite pad that was included in the kit which I did.

The spray on raptor liner? Or do they have a roll on? I was worried only because I have a small compressor.

How is it bad in the long run? It might peel up over time but it's so cheap it doesn't really matter
