Recently, A 2023-batch officer from Ahmednagar, Ms Khedkar made headlines last week after reports she lied about her mental and visual condition to secure an officer's post. after this incident there are allegation on many UPSC officers who qualified UPSC by getting forged document and enjoying the services. This Discussion has been joined by some distinguished panelists. Prof. Dr. Sanjeev Bagai says that This needs a comprehensive review, if the certificates have been produced falsely by the doctors, then the doctors should be questioned'. UPSC Educator Mudit Gupta says that The entire system goes much beyond the physically handicapped system, there have been candidate who have been claiming false OBC. it goes much beyond the entire UPSC system. UPSC is themself frauds, why are you not understanding that, they accepted fake certificates which is not even valid as per the rules, pvt hospital certificates are not valid in UPSC has to be cross checked.
What if the rot goes back more than 10 years. And someone knew of it and make a profit out of it. So any enquiry committee as such will only be a sham- just to appease the public and face saving exercise.

Looks like UPSC is also a dynast organization. UPSC should answer the folloing questions:
1. Why is there no standardized way of grading subjective answers after 75 years of their existence?
2. why is the answer keys provided after 1 year, what take so much time? Are they prepared to conduct the exam?
3. why UPSC hs no mechanism to verify claims of disability and caste after 75 years of their existance?
4. How many current civil servants are appointed without verification?
5. Who should be accountable for failure of UPSC and what's the punishment?
welcome to constitutional bodies whereas organisations like UPPCS release prelims keys in just 10 days.

We need an independent investigation under the supervision of Supreme Court not just pooja all other officers who have managed to get in to IAS. The big question is do we need mentally disabled people as our officers?? We need people who can serve us.

There is no upsc craze in kerala unlike up and bihar (most corrupt states).
Perhaps UPSC have always been compromised.and someone knew about it and make good use of it. Calling Puja a fraud is not right. She is only doing what perhaps many others might have done but in a different way. She might not be the torchbearer in this field. Perhaps the legends are already there sitting in the penthouse of UPSC. In any fields of employment or services, Loopholes are always being exploited and here at the prestigious service, she did just right- definitely and possibly with insiders help.
Also please investigate how only UP and Bihar people get into IAS. These people come for the power and money they can make through corruption. Unless this is changed our bureaucracy will rot.
Even there is religious bias in upsc paper, it is another type of scam .. ex everybody knows who reads Urdu, u can tell a person's religion with this language, leaving few exceptions. But u cannot tell a person's religion by any other languages like Bengali, kannada, Tamil, gujarati etc.

I have seen many people who are living hand to mouth. corrupt bureaucracy is destroying our country. Reservation system is deeply flawed. There should be proper vetting for reservation claims. Even her father is a retired IAS officer. Any reserved catagory who has crossed the threshold of 8 lakh per annum should be declared Creamy layer. Sons and daughters of ias officer should not claim reservation, they are already socially forward. How is this affirmative action. This is injustice in the name of equality. Shameful.
@@jituladhikary2227 dude the simple solution is let the reservation be based on the income of the family head not on the basis of caste , religion etc.If you are poor then you get reservation and if you are rich then you can cannot claim reservation .

Remove all quota then sports drama quota, kashmiri refugee quota, army quota, army ration, free air hostess family quota... All these quota n benefit that general people get.

I have seen many upsc officers in Rly,customs, Forest and other minstry without any knowledge. Back door entry. Bogus sc &ST certificate are rampant.
Has to file a case in supreme court and request for CBI probe for the one who cleared the UPSC since 2016 under this order 1) Disability 2) son/ daughter of Beaureucrats 3) EWS category from 2019. I believe Indian citizens will be surprised to know there are many pooja khedkars out there.

Ma'am has rightly pointed at the system. There is indeed a necessity of reformation in UPSC. other than disability and SC. There is also a flow in the recruitment of ST candidates. We ST from Northeast seldom avails the reservation. There is mina tribe, the society which claims that there are officers in every household, and yet they claims reservation.

All exams are compromised. please look into APFC exam in EPFO conducted by UPSC. unusually large number of students from certain centres cleared the exam. Also the CSIR SO/ASO exam is under doubts.

Let me bring you an issue, when bjp came into power and ruled for 10 years, it compromised each and every institution, statutory body. Even RBI is at stake, bjp is for riches,they don't even care for poor and needy, bjp always push back to pre independence when it comes to development. This is the only reason why adani and ambani is deciding fate of entire nation and why no new players is playing the level playing field when it comes to business and politics is not for doing good for people but solely for enjoying power and getting the things done and holding back amass of wealth. Show me one politician in my country who solely live his life with only the government way of funding him as a salary. why many of the youth crave for getting into upsc, if you ask me to answer, it is for the political bureaucratic nexus to get the things done and to amass wealth for both well being and not for nation and people well being. These days talent is only 50% remaing 50% is done with money. Don't know how much money her father spent for getting her the post in upsc.
