This last summer I was asleep in my unfinished cabin (only 3 walls up) and woke up with a bear on the other side of the wall sniffing around trying to figure out what was on the other side of the wall from him (meaning me)…. I turned on music and lights after getting my pistol in my hand, then called a buddy I knew would be awake at that hour…. Glad it never tried coming in the cabin.

They are usually expired in 3-5 seconds. Sometimes they don’t travel more than a step or two. Sometimes they could travel up to 100 yards
