“All I wanted was an ounce of respect.” This line right here… isn’t just what Medic mains feel. I can say we can generalize this to real life as well. Because, let’s be honest, there are people out there who have done a tremendous effort to be a team player and to be recognized and respected by others, but were always overlooked or ignored. They became victims because people didn’t recognize or respected their efforts. This is not just a feeling from Team Fortress 2 players but a feeling that many people feel in general in all forms of genres or reality. I had that feeling a lot when I was in high school, I was putting effort into being a team player but wasn’t respected or acknowledged in some way. Over time I just wanted an ounce of respect from my group but they rarely acknowledged it. That was a few years ago. That is what Medic feels right now, he wants to be respected. While his team, minus the civilian, are not cruel to him but they are hurting him in a way without knowing it. People call who don’t respect others for their efforts are considered cruel people, but the cruelest of all are those who are hurting others without knowing it, being ignorant of their actions and behavior towards the person they unintentionally hurting. Hence RED Team’s behavior toward the RED Medic.
When medic said "My Baby Boy!" I felt so emotional. It's just reminding me of the times Heavy and Medic killed so many people in Uber pushes and more. Very emotional.

Engineer is crippled badly when his teammates don't play around his buildings while medic has to stand behind two or more people to even do his job so that he'll be more protected.

I don't think I've ever teared up over a TF2 animation, thank you so much for this masterpiece. Seeing medic cry definitely hit me in a soft spot, so i want to say to all medic mains, no matter what, i respect all of you and thank you for being some of the best people in the community.
I don't know how Hoovytubes does it with their storytelling. It's funny, yet emotional. Seriously it's hard to watch this and not feel very badly for Medic and the situation he's in. I'm shocked just how much your lighting and overall cinematography has improved over the years and of course how could I forget the fantastic particle work. Genuinely proud of ya! My only critique is that sometimes the animation here and there has some rough edges, could have used more polishing but other than that this is some of the highest quality SFM Material you can find out there. Must say you're beating me to the punch here lol

Another beautiful work of cinematic art as always, Hoovy! I think it's safe to say that the wait for this next installment in the series was completely worthwhile for everyone - I hope so at least, because this was just brilliant! As always, your series continues to remind that this is Source Filmmaker and not something else like Blender or S2FM. That alone should be more than enough to get the picture across that the work you put into every little detail was incredibly astonishing for one single man! The cinematic ambience, mixed with your color grading, color correction, particle work, scene-building, custom models and textures for many, many things to not miss out on one single detail regarding wounds, skin glossiness during rainy weather, all the bits and pieces such bullet shells, debris from the fights, liquid spills...you name it - you didn't miss a single one as far as I noticed. For that, I have nothing else to say but to congratulate you for making this amazing work of art, Hoovy. Seriously, take it from another fellow SFM animator: things like this inspire many of us smaller bois to keep on learning and improving ourselves to reach new heights. Be proud, Hoovy. You've made art, and I wish you the best on turning this whole passion of yours into a full-time job. But all that I ask of you is to please take care of yourself, take breaks when you need to! You know the scene with scout giving bonk to help heavy was pretty emotional seeing how someone notoriously egotistical sharing his speed drink to a dying friend. I like to think the bonk made heavy’s heart so fast it was able to keep blood pumping.

Not enough people are realising how much of a G that spy is. He literally helped medic fake his death in order to help him. All for some money. And its not like he doesnt care either. The scene where medic says "I only wanted one ounce of respect" spy comes up to him and comforts him, shows that spy is actually doing this for medic and cares about him.
That was awesome, it’s amazing the voice acting, the lighting, everything. There’s only one thing though, in the first scene the red medic is holding a single action revolver where you have to cock the hammer down first then pull the trigger. Everything else in this sfm is gorgeous, nice job

We know that BRN is the "Builder's Revolutionary Nation." Are GRN and YLW the Global Radio Network and Yard Logistics Workers like in TF2 Classic or are they something else?

Ya know, I just realized something. Why isn't there another background character in charge of actually maintaining and procuring the weapons and equipment for the Mercs. Like, do ya really think Soldier was able to get his hand on an actual rocket launcher? Do ya really think Scout gives enough of a crap to clean his guns? So why isn't there a Gunsmith, or Armorer, or Mechanic, or whatever? Engie can only do so much before calling it quits.

ive literally heard players on the Skial server make the spy/white flag joke so many times over mic. You're writing is wonderful. As a Medic main, this series is thrilling. Just the right amount of emotion and action.
I honestly don't know who to be rooting for here on one hand the red team has some of the people that I come to love. While on the other seeing Blu in shock over the fact they have caped their first point in ages actually makes me want them to win. Blu team seem to appreciate their medic way more than the Red team has shown to their own medic and spy. They did not even seem hesitate when it came to replacing him. Look at what Red did they made my boy cry. So I like to assume when Medic said he has no idea who he wants to root for anymore that was also a question for us aswell. If that was your purpose then good job you have accomplished it well.
Last night I was playing casual and I kept getting targeted by the enemy team. Typed in chat "Medics are the most oppressed class" and everyone called me an idiot. Then proceeded to get shat on for not being medic after switching to someone else.
So what are we going to call the 10th class here? My vote is on "Commando" as he sure acts like it. Ruthlessly aggressive gets the job done with maximum enemy casualties.

Ya know, I just realized something. Why isn't there another background character in charge of actually maintaining and procuring the weapons and equipment for the Mercs.
Like, do ya really think Soldier was able to get his hand on an actual rocket launcher? Do ya really think Scout gives enough of a crap to clean his guns?

ive literally heard players on the Skial server make the spy/white flag joke so many times over mic. You're writing is wonderful. As a Medic main, this series is thrilling. Just the right amount of emotion and action.

I honestly don't know who to be rooting for here on one hand the red team has some of the people that I come to love. While on the other seeing Blu in shock over the fact they have caped their first point in ages actually makes me want them to win. Blu team seem to appreciate their medic way more than the Red team has shown to their own medic and spy. They did not even seem hesitate when it came to replacing him. Look at what Red did they made my boy cry. So I like to assume when Medic said he has no idea who he wants to root for anymore that was also a question for us aswell. If that was your purpose then good job you have accomplished it well.

Then proceeded to get shat on for not being medic after switching to someone else.
