I kinda wish we recommend this song to new reactors later in their BTS journey. I feel like new reactors don't understand the bts story well enough and don't understand the importance of lyrics enough to fully appreciate this song. It's a crime towards RM's artistry and poetry and the song doesn't get the love it deserves because they don't understand the emotions behind it.
@@khadijavantae2565 While I agree with the OP's comment about new reactors, I don't agree with you with your take on newer armies. I became an army completely by chance through work (long story but fell hard and FAST for this band) just 2 months before "Indigo" came out. While I hadn't the years to gather the knowledge of most fans, I did have enough knowledge to grasp the hardships the 7 of them must have been through. Maybe it's because I'm an older army (I'm 38) that has been enough struggles and inner battles in life to feel the way I felt about "Wild flower" but I immediately felt "oof this is heavy stuff" without even reading the lyrics. That's the beauty of RM's (and more largely BTS s) music. Conveying the complexity of these levels of emotions and interrogations by making listeners just FEEL is the mark of someone great at his artistry. Of course reading the lyrics is necessary if you don't speak the language to FULLY comprehend the song but just listening to it is enough to feel the heavyness. The musicality of his voice, the paces of his flow, the musical arrangements, the raw emotions of Youjeen's voice (ugh that VOICE ♡) etc... all of this let people know what this musician is trying to tell us. And boy was I not ok after the first time listening to it haha !
I honestly thought they would do Trivia Love or even moonchild for Namjoon’s solo song! Wild Flower is one of his newer ones but it’s not one I would recommend new ARMY to start off with on a solo journey.
Lyrics are SO important with BTS, but for RM in particular. He is truly a poet and his lyrics are the core of what he does. Namjoon's work has a lot of diversity in styles, always jaw-dropping. His four albums (2 mixtapes, 2 albums) are wildly different. Youjeen is the singer of a 90s rock band, Cherry Filter... biiiiiig voice. She's really cool.
Hi TrippleTake! OK, so you’re such a cool trio. Really nice vibes. But as you dive in further, and get to know BTS’ music, you really need to look into the LYRICS of their songs. There is so much DEPTH that you’ve missing. RM is first and foremost a POET. After 10 years in the limelight, non-stop writing, performing and touring, he is expressing the need to find himself again. This is a precursor to his album, Right Place, Wrong Person (RPWP) with tracks like LOST (a Grammy-worthy album by the way). RM is known to be a great nature lover. He cycles and hikes… so, WILD FLOWER expresses his yearning for a simpler life, back to who he really is. Come on, guys, time to dig a little deeper! Yes?
Namjoon/RM struggling dealing with fame and all its trappings, trying not to lose sight of himself while the whole world watches his every move. The fireworks/wild flower/flower work lyric actually came from his post back in 2017 titled 불꽃놀이the Korean title of "Wild Flower," which rhymes with (firework). He said, "Perhaps in our lives we need wild flowers [ 들꽃; deulkkot]-rather than flames [불꽃; bulkkot] or cherry blossoms [ 벚꽃; beotkkot]- in bloom, tranquilly." It's flower work because wildflowers are like fire works, they spread through the field just like how fireworks spread through the sky except Namjoon is saying he wants to live as a calm wildflower rather than a flashy quickly disappearing firework. So instead of living like fire flowers that is brilliant but would quickly disappear, namjoon would like to live more like wildflowers that are calm and tranquil. He used 불꽃 wordplay in previous work too Him wanting a life like a tranquil wild flower instead of a flashy firework that is quick to burn out. He always paints such a personal and powerful image.
I don't expect reactors to cry, especially when they don't have a connection with the band. But someone needs to tell them the lyrics are important haha Reacting only to visuals and high notes is not enough to sustain a paid Patreon
It’s truly a shame. I’ve been an ARMY for 10 years now, largely because of their lyricism. Through their music, I’ve felt so seen, loved, and understood. And that’s just with translated lyrics-I often think about how much symbolic, lyrical, and cultural significance we miss out on. I can’t shake the feeling that these guys don’t actually care to understand what the bts message really is.
@anabella-sa Sorry, but they looked totally disinterested cause it was not what they expected from a Rapper. They literally talked over the whole video, so rude to the ARTIST. It is just good manners to not speak over someone else. They called it a "cool" song. Yeah, RM pouring out his inner pain, fears, and struggles of his Twenties is "cool". If they want to make money off BTS ' s work on Patreon, do the work, take the time to REALLY know each artist. They are so proud cuz they have listened to one solo of each member, and their Tik tok short said, " Wow, SOME of BTS members are out of this world." I don't care if your clout chase on TH-cam because it's fun and you like BTS music, but don't try to make money on Patreon without putting in the hard work. No one works harder than BTS.
@anabella-sa I agree 💯. It is just good manners to listen and not speak when someone is speaking. RM wasn't just speaking he was pouring out his deepest, pain, anguish, and fears from his Twenties, and they said that was a "cool" song. Have fun on TH-cam clout chasing for views, but don't try to make money on Patreon off of BTS 's hard work, blood ,sweat, and tears, if your going to be to lazy, and too disinterested to be committed. I have never been so upset by any reaction before, the disrespect 😤. The lyrics actually said, " Society is all for the loudest voices and I am still speaking in silence." RM Wildflower. Yeah, RM was speaking, and those three we clowning.
RM is the member that makes me emotional every time. His masterpieces are only for people who know what music is and the deep emotions that it gives. It is not for people who like mainstream music.
BTS each member is more successful than whole kpop because they are pure artist from korea who are singers, rappers, writers, producer, dancers. They are not typical kpop...
Great reaction guys. I think now you should focus more on the lyrics cause they are most famous for their deep poetic lyricism especially RM he even said it in this song 'my start was poetry'. You should also know that long reaction videos don't faze us we're here for it so maybe you can do lyrics videos, music videos and even live performances for each song you react to from now on. Again love your reactions guys 💜
Great reaction?? ARE you crazy. They never read a single lyric! Talked over the whole thing and ended with " that's was a "COOL " song", a song of RM'S deepest struggles, pain, and fears, and they said that was cool. It was disrespectful! They looked totally disinterested like "clout" chasers!
I've always thought their name was perfect for that kind of reaction set-up - A triple take reaction of each song e.g. Music video, lyric video and live performance, or music video, live performance and dance practice. That way they'd be able to appreciate all the important aspects of the songs.
@@genevievehiguera6162 I'm so with you on this one like their reactions to all of the BTS songs trusfrate me so much and i really don't get why army's are just eating this up and not calling them out, like since when was these kind of reactions okay? like it's really disrespectful...they did'nt even realise that this was a more deeper and kind of emotional song because they did'nt understand the logic and meaning behind it.
If you're reacting to BTS, please read the lyrics. This is one of the things that make them so different from the rest of the Kpop industry. Namjoon is a poet before anything else, so his pen game is top tier.
BTS fans really like when reactors make commentary on song lyrics because many BTS songs have meaningful lyrics about various topics. Especially the rappers solo works.
Wildflower by RM is masterpiece.. this song is one of my fav song.. I can listen to namjoon music my whole life.. I listen to MONO, INDIGO & RPWP everyday..😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I love Rm so much this song explains why I give so much Respect to him he just Block the haters away he have been through lot lot going wrapped around his head so he blew that away with Flower work im so proud of him the cutest clip i seen Jhope surprise rm his set he was surprised shook happy he came support his big bro Rapline so cute
So happy you had the lyrics up. There's not a line in here that someone can't relate to, pure poetry. Thanks for the shout out to Youjeen, her vocals were awesome. And flowerwork - RM talked about it - how flowers are lasting and fireworks are spectacular but are only there briefly.
Every project RM puts out has been totally different from the last. Most world wide famous artists stick to the formula they know their fans liked. RM is the opposite. His fans never know what we are going to get next. He is an incredible artist who stays true to his journey of musical exploration
I think it was too soon for you to start watching the members' solo projects, but since you've already started, so okay. I have a suggestion for you: first, watch the music video. If you can, watch it a few times or listen to the song throughout the day. Then, watch the live version. Trust me, you'll be blown away. BTS never disappoints with their live performances-they're even better than their studio versions. The latest live performance is Jin's "Happy." If you watch his live performance, you'll see that he absolutely killed it 🔥🔥
RM went through a very though time in the later stages of BTS before their break and during it. He explained in this song and in his talk with Jimin about his most recent album how he really struggled with the responsibility as leader of BTS and who Namjoon was. He was the bridge between the label and the band, the only one fluent in English and at the same time tried his best to protect the other members. Suga even said once that there are no privileges to being a leader only added responsibility. RM explained he distanced himself from the members a little bit after the release of his first album because he needed to find himself and the members respected and understood that. He opened up about feeling more secure with the person he is now and is one of the members who's expressed the most how much he misses BTS and the members during their military service.
When I first listened to Wildflower I immediately thought about the BTS festa in 2022 where RM broke down in tears when he talked about his personal struggles :( I'm so glad that he got what he needed with the break and that he's feeling better, he deserves nothing but the best 💜
Those are real fireworks. Also i hope you paid attention to his lyrics. That is why RM is one of the song writers for BTS. There’s always a deeper meaning in his songs. So please, pay attention to their lyrics.
Guys, I've been an army since 2017 when spring day released, and I don't cry to this song! 😂 Everyone has different reactions, and that's okay, we can tell if you fake it, so staying genuine is the best thing you can do!! ❤ thank you for reacting, and if people try and tell you the "right way," just ignore them. They're looking for clip grabbing and not watching through to the end. I hope your army journey continues, and I'm happy to be along for the ride! Edit : for the other army commenting that this song makes you cry, that's totally valid!! There are many bts songs that make me cry as well. This comment was in response to someone telling the guys that this was "the worst reaction to this song they'd ever seen" because they didn't get outwardly emotional. I agree that reading the lyrics is important, but I think that that comes with time ! Trying to control how people react or identify with the boys does not make them fans. Give them time and space to become fans their way like you had the chance to!
I’m 2017 Army too… I’ve definitely cried once or twice with this song, especially before Namjoon entered the military. I love this song with my whole heart 🥺💜
@jaelove.bts7 I love that for you!!! I cry every single time I hear never mind. I have it tattooed! Everyone connects with different songs from the boys and that's why they are so loved 💜

Great reaction, guys. You’re not obligated to have any specific reaction to a song and it was very clear you enjoyed it. I’ve never cried while listening to this song but like you all, think it’s an absolute banger that showcases RM’s maturity in thought. (Seb articulated this well.) The fact that you might have missed some nuances is irrelevant because you can always come back to it and people will tell you that the song was about (or google lol). Anyways, there is no correct way to BTS as long as you’re enjoying the journey and you obviously are. Thanks again guys!
You should read the lyrics. RM's song "Wild Flower" is a deeply introspective track that draws inspiration from his personal experiences and reflections on navigating fame and finding his true self. The song's central theme revolves around the idea of resilience and blooming like a wildflower despite challenging circumstances. RM has spoken about how the song reflects his own journey of overcoming struggles, particularly those related to fame and the pressures of being a global superstar. He uses the imagery of a wildflower to symbolize the ability to thrive even in difficult environments
for all the subscribers and viewers watching these videos you'd think the discussion and comprehension of the lyrics would be a main point. what a missed opportunity to throughly connect and relate
Lyrics!! Wild flowers are beautiful, simple and grounded. Fireworks (look similar to flowers) but they explode, are bright and high up in the sky for the world to see. He talks about his roots writing poetry (a flower) dreaming of being a star (a firework). But when he go that dream it felt like shackles, he was conflicted and his dream wasn't what he though it would be. He talks about losing himself, loneliness, anxiety. He wants to go back to his roots and stay grounded as a wild flower. Please correct me if I am wrong but that's what I understand. In the end, he is lying in the field of flowers... RM's most recent album was amazing too. It's a completely different style (that is not for everyone) but RM wanted to get it out. It really showcased his genius music making skills and lyricism. Every song is a work of art.
Please react to BTS members, Solo Debuts. V: Slow Dancing Jungkook : Standing next to you Jimin : Set me free pt.2 Jhope : More RM : Wild flower Jin : Running Wild Suga : Haegeum
@rubahaggaz865 like Jungkook seven , 3d, standing next to you, euphoria, left and right, my time are massive hits Jimin like crazy, who is a hit and I mostly see people always react to set me free part 2 the most 😊❤️
When I say BTS is underrated, I don't lie, do I? If you don't read the lyrics of their songs, You are simply missing out. You don't need to cry but You will genuinely feel touched. The first time I heard and read about Spring Days, I didn't cry, I felt sad and touched but didn't cry. But Now, when they are away, every time I hear the song, Jung Kook singing "Wait a little bit, just a few more nights I'll be there to see you I'll come for you" I CRY.
The fireworks ARE real! I recommend you look up the shooting sketches for the MV's, they always update them on the bangtantv chanel. And yeah, not reading the lyrics is a crime, for any BTS song, but SPECIALLY for a Namjoon one, my boy here is a writting genius, I recommend doolset lyrics since they put context and very detail translations.
namjoon is a poet. he’s so talented and articulate that you have to really listen and think about how he speaks and the words he chooses. in general, reading the lyrics of bts’s songs are half the experience. they put out such beautiful and important messages.
One of the most powerful music videos of the BTS members. Definitely watch it again and pay attention to the lyrics to fully appreciate the meaning of the song and RM’s talent as a song writer.
People have different reactions to music, and that’s completely fine. If someone doesn’t cry when listening to a song, it doesn’t mean they aren’t enjoying it. In fact, I’m glad that they’re appreciating the song in their own way. That being said, I do think it would be great if the guys spent a segment digging deeper into the song-perhaps by reading the lyrics or exploring the story behind the music video and its creation. Likewise, I understand why some fans might feel underwhelmed with their reaction and wish for more insight. That’s valid, too. We all have our unique ways of connecting with music, art, etc. Personally, as a fan of BTS since their debut in 2013, I know how much depth and emotion they pour into their craft. Their lyrics are rich with meaning, often addressing meaningful themes beyond the usual topics in mainstream music. For me, Wildflower is one of those songs that always seems to make me cry and feel deeply emotional. It’s up there with Young Forever, We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal, Stay Gold, Paradise, Let Go, and 00:00-honestly, I cry to a lot of BTS songs (Can’t help it! I am one emotional human being HAHAHAHAHA). The combination of the lyrics, melody, and music video evokes so many memories and emotions. But if the guys don’t react in the same way or shed tears over it, that’s okay. Everyone’s experience is different, and the guys are not obligated to react in a specific way. There’s no single “correct” way to respond to art or music. What matters is that they’re growing as ARMYs, and I’ll continue supporting them on that journey. No pressure-just keep enjoying the music and reactions, guys! Thank you guys! 💪💜
When you guys watch the mv focus on the lyrics as well they show a lot of the songs meaning and is a really important thing to the song. Plus it’s good that you guys show you care about the songs meaning and not just bts in itself
I recommend watching the making of the MV. He explains the fireworks and the flowerwork . Beautiful to see and pretty much it explains the vibe of the entire album
I absolutely adore this RM song, and the live version with Youjeen on stage just takes it to a whole new level for me! The fireworks are seriously amazing, 100% real, and they're called Nakhwa Nori. They were actually filmed on location, which is so cool. BTS always manages to teach us about their culture through their songs and videos, and this is just another perfect example of that. “Nakhwa nori is a traditional Korean fireworks event that is held in Korea during certain months and is usually done to celebrate the Buddha’s birthday or during a full moon. Unlike normal fireworks, nakhwa nori is made from stringing tiny bags with a combo of charcoal made from salt and burnt mulberry onto ropes that get hung over water and lit. Most of the time, they are burnt over water as it creates a beautiful scene of color and vibrance. The custom of Nakhwa Nori dates all the way back to the Joseon Dynasty and was done in order for the people to pray for their well-being and wishes for a good and prosperous year.”
The significance of saying flowerwork instead of firework is the analogy of him wanting his life and career to grow and bloom like a flower rather than having a big boom but fizzling out quick like a firework. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND checking out the lyrics. Its a big component as to why we as army love and appreciate him so much. Because he is a lyricist a poet.
Also, surprisingly insightful from Seb at the end there about this having the sound and delivery of someone further in their career, who knows what they want and has grown a lot. The more you discover Namjoon (RM), the more you'll discover how wide of a spectrum his tastes cover--and he definitely has an indie side to him. This album, "Indigo," just turned 2 years old today. It was an album that he said archives his 20s. It's meant to be listened to from the first song all the way through, as it tells a story. He talks about the album in-depth in "'Indigo' Album Magazine Film." Keep the subtitles on. If you're watching more recent, official content, it should display English for you. You guys can't be missing out on any of BTS' lyrical game.
The entire INDIGO album is just amazing. I don't have words to explain it. its like really soothing and warm. And RM's writing is always very poetic. He is a genius
wildflower always gives me goosebumps, makes me emotional(sometimes i cry too), and it's massage always goas straight to my heart. Rm poetic appearance in this songs really amazing 💜 I fell for it the first time i heard it.
guys honestly....if you have access to translated lyrics while watching the video you should definitely read them along bcz rm is literally a lyrical genius
Whenever you are listening to BTS reading the lyrics is the most important part , i really hope you would read the lyrics for better understanding of the mv
Wild Flower is my anthem. I love it sooo much. The lyrics, the melody, the mv…they just all resonate so much to me. Whenever it comes up in my playlist I just have to close my eyes and feel the music, the message. Joon is a treasure of an artist and his albums & songs are pieces of art. I didn’t think my love for Indigo could be surpassed given how I love Wild Flower, Closer, Lonely and No. 2 so much but boy did he outdo himself with RPWP. All songs, and I mean ALL songs in that are absolute masterpieces.
RM and BTS in general are SOOO GOOD with lyrics, you should always use captions when listening for the first time one of their songs, its really worth it
Youjeen is a powerful vocalist standing in her own spotlight esp. during the late 90s. early 2000s. all koreans millennials+ would know her song and still tops on karaoke charts haha. Was such a nice surprise for RM to collab with 'daesunbae's (higher seniors in industry) and provide this gem.
Rm's music is not for everyone. Whatever he releases you just have to read the lyrics coz whatever he is speaking is his perspective,it's jis authentic self.
Omg you guys, this song always makes me cry a little bit😢 the lyrics in the song are so deep.. Can you imagine dreaming of something, working hard and achieving that only to realize that now it's a trap, kind of? Bookish Theories had a great explanation mv for this.. The fireworks/wild flower/flower work lyric actually came from his post back in 2017 titled 불꽃놀이the Korean title of "Wild Flower," which rhymes with (firework). He said, "Perhaps in our lives we need wild flowers [ 들꽃; deulkkot]-rather than flames [불꽃; bulkkot] or cherry blossoms [ 벚꽃; beotkkot]- in bloom, tranquilly."
It's flower work because wildflowers are like fire works, they spread through the field just like how fireworks spread through the sky except Namjoon is saying he wants to live as a calm wildflower rather than a flashy quickly disappearing firework. So instead of living like fire flowers that is brilliant but would quickly disappear, namjoon would like to live more like wildflowers that are calm and tranquil. He used 불꽃 wordplay in previous work too
Him wanting a life like a tranquil wild flower instead of a flashy firework that is quick to burn out. He always paints such a personal and powerful image.
Thank you! I learned a bit more about this song from your comment. 🙏😊💜
Wildflower is one of my fav songs of RM. It's from his debut album Indigo. The lyrics of wildflower are so beautiful. It's one of my comfort song.
I don't expect reactors to cry, especially when they don't have a connection with the band. But someone needs to tell them the lyrics are important haha Reacting only to visuals and high notes is not enough to sustain a paid Patreon
preach pleaaaase
It’s truly a shame. I’ve been an ARMY for 10 years now, largely because of their lyricism. Through their music, I’ve felt so seen, loved, and understood. And that’s just with translated lyrics-I often think about how much symbolic, lyrical, and cultural significance we miss out on. I can’t shake the feeling that these guys don’t actually care to understand what the bts message really is.
Preach cause what 😩
@anabella-sa Sorry, but they looked totally disinterested cause it was not what they expected from a Rapper.
You'll understand why they call RM a philosopher who raps when you read the lyrics!.. everything Rm even BTS created are true masterpieces!🥹🥺💜💜💜💜💜💜
BTS each member is more successful than whole kpop because they are pure artist from korea who are singers, rappers, writers, producer, dancers. They are not typical kpop...
Well said! 😊 Agreed 100%
BTS paved the way and made Hybe the company that they are today
"That felt like really mature"
You right 😊
Great reaction guys.
They don't read lyrics
@@PVM2706-rv7io true how are you even reacting without reading or understanding the lyrics
If you're reacting to BTS, please read the lyrics. This is one of the things that make them so different from the rest of the Kpop industry. Namjoon is a poet before anything else, so his pen game is top tier.
What a great coincidence it's his first solo album INDIGO's 2nd anniversary today .... wildflower is the title track❤
Stream!!
Its been exactly two years guys since this masterpiece was released. Thank you for reacting
RM IS THE GOAT. The whole album is bomb ☺️☺️ Namjoons pensmanship in this album was great..... Hope you guys could appreciate their talent more
RM says BTS is a firework but he is more like a flower work. You can see them both sing this live at RM ROLLING HALL LIVE SEOUL. FT YOUJEEN.
Cause when you see the fireworks 🎆🎇 it's looks likes beautiful flowers 💐
BTS fans really like when reactors make commentary on song lyrics because many BTS songs have meaningful lyrics about various topics. Especially the rappers solo works.
Guys you should really pay attention on the lyrics, BTS write their songs and every single one of them was such a deep and beautiful message
RM is not only a rapper, composer, lyricist and producer, he is a POET and more importantly PHILOSOPHER
U see Rm. U focus on lyrics. Period
They haven't read a single lyric
@@uroojkhan9529Did you paid atention? They asked what Flowerwork means.
RM is best leader I ever seen
Every project RM puts out has been totally different from the last. Most world wide famous artists stick to the formula they know their fans liked. RM is the opposite. His fans never know what we are going to get next. He is an incredible artist who stays true to his journey of musical exploration
One of things that BTS are known for is their LYRICISM. All of all them are great lyricists. READ. THE. LYRICS.
Especially RMs lyrics!! Always hits differently
RM is a poet. Please look up to the Lyrics it's always so meaningful.
It's not about crying when you watched a video and don't read the lyrics or know what he's singing that how he's reacting

I can't believe you paused right when Youjeen started singing 😭 she was so perfect for this song
Thanks again guys!
exactly!
Well,, Our Rm is famous because of his lyrics guys....
I don't know if they read comments but I hope they read this one. BTS is famous for its lyricism that's why understanding the lyrics is a must.
I hope they read comments

When I say BTS is underrated, I don't lie, do I?
If you don't read the lyrics of their songs, You are simply missing out.
You don't need to cry but You will genuinely feel touched.
The first time I heard and read about Spring Days, I didn't cry, I felt sad and touched but didn't cry. But Now, when they are away, every time I hear the song, Jung Kook singing "Wait a little bit, just a few more nights
I'll be there to see you
I'll come for you"
I CRY.
Yes, RM is well spoken
You should react to his speech at the United Nations
The fireworks ARE real! I recommend you look up the shooting sketches for the MV's, they always update them on the bangtantv chanel.
And yeah, not reading the lyrics is a crime, for any BTS song, but SPECIALLY for a Namjoon one, my boy here is a writting genius, I recommend doolset lyrics since they put context and very detail translations.
I'm loving this phase of more frequent reactions.
start paying more attention to the lyrics!! It will amaze you even more, how good of a songwriter he is, all 7 of them actually are.
Rm always release a diamond (masterpiece)
namjoon is a poet. he’s so talented and articulate that you have to really listen and think about how he speaks and the words he chooses.
in general, reading the lyrics of bts’s songs are half the experience. they put out such beautiful and important messages.
My favorite RM song!! It's so emotional, beautiful, and cinematic! His lyrics are always really deep.
My favourite track ever. But honestly he has such diverse style in music
Guys! Not reading the lyrics is a crime especially for Namjoon' s songs. BTS' songs are a lot more than just music its the message they want to give.😢
Beautiful to see and pretty much it explains the vibe of the entire album
not reading RM’s lyrics is a CRIMEEEEEEEE 🤯
Its upsetting that you didn't read the lyrics in this song. Namjoon is very poetic in his lyrics.
He talks about the album in-depth in "'Indigo' Album Magazine Film."
Keep the subtitles on. If you're watching more recent, official content, it should display English for you. You guys can't be missing out on any of BTS' lyrical game.
Guys. The lyrics are so important. You are missing out. Thank you for the reaction. 💜🇧🇷
