The real estate market in Kenya needs to be regulated. This is a good investment and a nice house. But lets say you invest the kshs. 25M. As an investor how long does it take you to return your money? Does the property come with a sectional property title deed ? What are the operational and maintenance costs? How long does it take someone to say i have made a profit from such an investment.
I'd actually argue housing is a bad investment in Kenya. Even business daily had an article a while ago how Kenyan investors were looking at properties abroad due to the consistency of tenants paying and decent returns. The question 🤔 I always have is who is able to afford inflated rents with very few high earners in our nation. Look at Upperhill with many vacant units many years after completion of those projects.
