Make sure you feel comfortable and chill when you do in the first place, make sure you're not smoking stems make sure you have some decent quality bud, a little goes a long way for people who tend to get anxious when they smoke and don't mix with tobacco the first times that you try weed bc it tends to make your high more racey which can also cause anxiety, weed is defo not for everyone tho and some people just don't have a good experience with marijuana in general but i hope this helped you out at least a little bit if you want to try again

Sativa is the big one that causes most people to not enjoy, you kind of have to be in a relatively comfortable place like home and not anxious about something.
