Mahanadhi is a heavy movie. Kamal sir will make you break into tears in many scenes. Village portions were shot in Thirunageshwaram which is nearby Kumbakonam. I was studying 2nd std and I shook hands with Ulaganayagan on the film sets. It was a beautiful and a touching experience

One of the epic tamil movies. Filled with so many heart warming (breaking) moments. Though there are too many stunning shots including the one where kamal just freezes on seeing his daughter.
