The Tyne Pedestrian Tunnel | Incline Lifts Look Around

After over a decade of being closed to the public, the Incline Lifts in the Tyne Pedestrian Tunnel have reopened this week, following major refurbishment work.
It was nice to have a walk through, and experience the Incline Lifts, which are now both fully operational.
The Tyne Pedestrian Tunnel is open 24 hours a day, everyday, and offers a free & convenient way for pedestrians & cyclists to cross to the other side. There are connections to Bus & Metro services within walking distance at each end of the Tunnel.

WOW! This is a really fascinating piece of equipment designed with quite complex and complicated construction, no surprises to anyone how it took so long to refurbish! 😂

The tunnel was closed in May 2013, so it only took 11 and half years.
This should be studied on every civil engineering course .. HOW NOT TO RUN A PROJECT
