I think we kind of scared him. Those poor hatters over in Florida aren't quite used to fangirl squads, I don't think. :/ All the same, he was magical! Disney magic ftw.

I've never been in Disneyland, but The Mad Hatter is very very dear to me...
Haha this made me laugh so hard!! I think he is the best WDW hatter!! He's very much in character... and loud! I like how you added the subtitles!! His face when he yells for Mary Poppins is the best part!! hahaha!
Not many fangirls in Florida?...when my friend and I go, he may actually consider a restraining order.

I love this! it makes me smile a lot. I'm going to WDW in August, and i really hope to catch the wonderland pair sometime while i am there cuz i have made it through three trips without a peep from them. this mad hatter is great! you guys are funny too :)

When I was at Disney World this past spring break I didn't see any hatters... or Alice... and any characters at all. It was lame.

LOL ok he wasn't so bad. Another friend of Hatter in Disney World has told me of his experiences with fangirls, and they are all quite amusing. ^^
It seems that most WDW Hatters shy away from them, or act horrified like Mr. Hatter here, whereas in California they take it with more finess, and in some cases even welcome it and go along with it!

You're totally right, Disney World's characters aren't as used to the everyday craziness that ensues at Disneyland (between characters & guests and characters & other characters)... Disney World's don't even have nicknames lol

Oh no, my friend, they're quite used to fangirl squads by now thanks to an artist on a site called "DeviantArt", you can find her by the username of "bri-chan". The popularity of her drawings plus the fact she actually works at Disneyland spread across the said site and many fans started chasing after the hatters (including the one from Disney World since she made a trip there and ended up meeting their hatter), so they ended up getting acquainted with such fandom after some time. =)

So I've been researching this a bit. It looks like from buying coins on ebay, you could put together 10 shillings and 6 pence from 1865 when Alice's Adventure's in Wonderland was written for about $200. I wonder what he would do if someone actually offered him that. lol
