Good video, and before I even finished it, I was sure the MT10 was the better truck. Our mavericks we reviewed both crumbled easily, and under very little pressure.
Hey man thanks for stopping in and watching I wanted the maverick to be an awesome rc but in my opinion it missed the mark , i have a few videos on it and i never had any luck with it .... The Mt10 is best in class i reckon ... Ill watch your video 👍🏻
Hello, You make really great videos, thanks for that. I'm about to buy an MT but I'm not sure which one? Rival Mt10 V2 or Maverick Quantum 2 can you give me an honest recommendation. Thanks!
Great run sure wished I had a park like that close to me ! I could hear a clicking I have sold a few of these quantum2 ‘s in my shop and have had no complaints or any news of breakage from customers sofar can’t wait to see if you find more gear damage !
Yo I had similar issues on my first run with the Maverick Q2. The front diff input shaft was loose from the factory and rattled loose. Also sheared a balance lead on the battery tray! Running today to see if I've fixed it. Great video!
Love my rival MT10. Unfortunately I bent the motor mount. I think the must upgrades are longer battery straps, RPM arms (bought but the originals are still great), motor mount upgrade when stock ones bends.
The mt10 is a fun little truck. I did manage to break a front arm on the last run. But that was just my awful driving. I, too, am loving the smaller trucks lately. You can do more with them in smaller places. Bummer about the balance lead. I've done that before. 😞
Its a little beast for sure, best in class imo .... Oh dam you broke something on yours ! Yes something about these smaller rc's lately im loving more and more , thats why i got another Maxx .... I did manage to salvage the lipo ... I soldered the balance wire back on 😁
@kaosr.c nice. I only watched the mt10 run. Going to go back and watch the maverick run later. I have always been a huge hpi fan. But their quality just seems to be lacking now.
My Maverick is a total turd , i must have gotten the only Dudd ... Hpi have been really good about it and i have sent the truck back to a distributor here in Oz and Hpi have told them to send me a whole new truck , they want to pull apart and inspect why mine kept failing ... So in that respect i give them full credit ...
Balance leads are fixable. Spare pins and jst plugs are readily available. Just remember to always work one wire at a time and insulate the others when soldering battery wires.
Great video my friend, definitely a noise mate, clicking sound from the nose dives and cartwheel just before you noticed it I think. I think it took a few nasty hits man, probably front diff? Still though, they were hard hits, I don't think that takes much away from it's durability if it's something Major. Just my opinion, anyways, good luck with it and I hope it's nothing. Cheers Kaos 👍👌
Ah, yes, towards the end, the last minute, it was definitely getting worse and worse... It's a shame... Was a good bash video, still, excpet for the rain and the electrical issues... Well, I guess, actually a crap bash session, he he... Stiil nice video to watch!
I love my HPI's but in this case budget Team Associated beats budget HPI. MT10 is such a good platform. I really ought to treat mine to a set of Team Associated aluminum shocks...she doesn't need them but probably deserves them!
Not that one video means much, but I saw someone had gotten the factory team aluminum shocks and they ended up popping off the mounts almost immediately. Not sure if this issue has been addressed but honestly while I am sure the team shocks are nice, I’m not sure spending half the car’s cost on aluminum shocks (when the plastic ones seem to do more than fine) is worth it

Get yourself an MT10. It would be cool to see how it does in your drag races! 🙂

@@Kayvoo-d7b thanks mate ... So far my experience with the Q2 has been a disaster... Total turd of an rc ... Hopefully yours is a good one 🔥

@@TheSerbianG definitely a bit long battery straps would be good
I have yet to brake or bend anything on mine
I got the carbon fiber motor mount from M2C.
@JohnSmith-ef8nr i bent mine not long ago , will look into that for sure
@kaosr.c
I haven't used my mt10 yet, but i got one just incase, there about £20.

@@rcplaytime the Mt10 is honestly the best 3s monster truck out there 🔥
