I know this was a while ago but why? Were the school buses damaged in a flood or something? Also, we’re the charter buses being used as school buses for morning and afternoon pickup/drop off? I’m a bus driver with both my school bus and passenger endorsement, was it because the charter drivers didn’t have a S endorsement? Even then, if you’re loading and unloading children as if you’re in a school bus you should be qualified to do so. Seems odd to not use a company like first student which is s school bus company.
Because if you're going out on a field trip, you have to go out in style.
It’s going to turn out that the owner of the private buses is a friend with someone on the HISD Board 😂
all that money could have gone to accommodate and pay existing bus drivers or even hire new ones. HISD is a sham.

HISD sucks, one of the safest Districts in the area, but they just lack at stuff
