got7 is the most solid and cohesive group i've seen among hundreds of kpop groups. you can literally talk about anything when it comes to got7 vocals, rap flow, visuals, choreography, personality and entertainment. Not to mention that the 7 members fit with each other and how every member shines and no one is left behind. got7 is truly always winning in every aspects, this comeback is the biggest slap in kpop

It feels like all 7 members are Romeo, they’re just at different time:
Jinyoung meets Juliet at the beginning
Jackson is in families conflict (crown)
Bambam is imprisoned (laserbeam)
Mark holds dead Juliet in his arms (a dress)
Yugyeom is struggling in the stormy night
JB takes the poison (a bottle)
Youngjae died (lying on coffin)
That’s why there’s a scene all of them looking up at the balcony, like Romeo is looking up at Juliet..
And of course the bird is like their Juliet (bird also represents their fan which called ‘aghase’. Many of their MVs have scenes with birds) so technically the Juliet is their fans, this video is like Got7 interacted with their fans through the whole concept of Romeo & Juliet things.. just a theory..
I agree all of them played a different act but at the end they change the way the story goes, Bambam gets out of the jail, Jaebeom drops the potion, Youngjae sits on the coffin and all of them free the bird (ahgase) that crashes against the moon, which represents inestability and then the columns start to fall since they changed the ending, but the clock marks their debut date and then the sky is bright and they go on writing their own story at the end, and we're with them because they all look at the back of the carriage.

The song is inspired by Romeo and Juliet, which explains the balcony scene, the coffins, etc.
The title and chorus is even quoting the play where Juliet begs Romeo: "Oh, swear not by the moon..." the idea behind this being that the moon changes every night, so she didn't want him to falter and make a promise that wouldn't be constant.

Hontestly, watching this only once is not enough. So better to watch the MV and then the dance practice which was also freaking sick! Outstanding choreo. Just being honest though.
jype is one of the big 3 and well balanced company yes but it doesnt give got7 the promotion they deserve. YCMN era had almost zero promotions. i hope this era they give got7 the best promotion
It’s true indeed if you watch their concert or each solo stuff one member is sufficient to shine, sometimes solo stages of idols aren’t as powerful as the whole group stages but here I believe they have a great balance and cohesion, I think JYP really did a good job by putting them altogether, that’s honestly one of if not the only group that blends well together in term of voices, presence and stages. For me they’re not idols, they more artists, they show a lot of personality in all of they make and they’re being raw without trying to fit the perfect idol image

This title track, mv, and the whole album have a really well planned concept. Not only the mv and title track is based on shakespeare's romeo and juliet, even the order of the songs in the album is based on the romeo and juliet storyline, starting with aura and ending with poison.
I hope you are able to react to sub unit of Got7, Jus2 “focus on me” which is a next level of kpop, and JJ Project “bounce” and “tomorrow today”..

Love the fact you guys are big fans of GOT7 they are very underrated and it makes me mad they should be a big deal in Korea alone but everyone be sleeping on them. Their talents is insane 😭😭😭 JYP girl groups do better than boy groups so the company gives the girl groups nore importance in terms of promotions

It's based off Romeo and Juliet play by Shakespeare.The theory is they are a theater group. Traveling in the caravan.In the play Romeo says to Juliet he swears by the moon he loves her and she says don't swear by the moon the moon is always changing.Because she wants him to love her consistently.There was a King in R&J. The one scene with Jackson with the the two sides represents the two feuding families the Capulets and the Montagues.
In conclusion, they start in the tent as actors but as we can see they change the ending of the tragic story, and right after they do this as JB drops the potion, the clock marks 1.16 (which is their debut date, jan 16) as saying they start to write their own story!
And the mv ends with them looking at us (like saying we're with them on the journey) as the carriage keeps moving, since we’re giving them the strength as they keep writing their story (you can see all of them have books and pens).
p.s. I love how you used to watch videos on your phone but now you have a great screen and a GREAT sound. I love that you're growing since you totally deserve it.

JYP in general for me is a good company. They care for the wellness of their employees and treats them as human/people. Perhaps their biggest flaw for me is that they tend to focus on several artists and forget to promote the others like GOT7. But I heard JYP himself is not the CEO anymore. Although he's still a major stockholder. Now I think he's an artist under JYP and the founder not the CEO.
I will only fully agree with this if they finally gave a solo album for Youngjae. JYP is sleeping on him :(

i think what you said about JYP does make sense. it's said that back then, JYP auditioned for SM Entertainment (Red Velvet, Super Junior) and presented a song to them. But they rejected him (because he doesn't have the looks for it) and asked if they could just buy his song. He said no and ultimately, made his own label.

I don't know if JYP did it on purpose or a coincidence but Shakespeare wrote Romeo and juliet during an epidemic plague. The love story turned tragic when Romeo never got the letter, cause Friar Laurence was in quarantine! Talk about being current.

I’d say yes JYP is probably the best agency of the big 3 because they really care about their artists, health, families etc as ou said it’s probably because Jyp was an artists so yeah. It’s not all love tho even if they got more freedom Than in YG & SM, he still kinda blocks them to fully make some of their songs, especially the title track is always written or produced by him ( I think it’s because of the royalties) I mean he gave them good soundtracks but sometimes songs made by themselves like ´Paradise’, ´Page’ were a better fit to be a title track. He also kinda kinda neglect them by not promoting them the same as Twice, Stray Kids and ITZY, they often wether have not or less promotions or even on TV shows they’re not going on much shows these days, it’s been like that since he debuted twice and even if fans made him known to promote them better and he said that they now have a whole team that manages them ( which was only reserved for twice before) it hasn’t improved that much, JYPE kinda did the same with 2PM I feel once the 3 year debut has passed he kinda forget them. Even tho that’s basically GOT7 that saved JYPE from bankrupt
