    I always learn watching your videos. I have my dealership work on my bike. I change my own fluids and do basic stuff. But my dealership does everything else. I am a traveling machinist. I just don't have the time to do all that work. I would rather ride. Change fluids and detail my bike to keep it clean. My 2000 Road King Classic runs like a top and had been a reliable good bike. If anything i have the bike over serviced. I feel better going that way. Again in 25 years I've never had a problem other than regular maintenance and wear items. Thanks Doc!!!

    Hi Doc I would like your advice on my 2019 road king. I had to upgrade the engine to 117 stage 3 with V&S headers, KW exhaust and Fuel pack tune. The bike has annoying ticking noise (valve noise??) and numbing fine vibration that causes me to loos sensation in my feet. the biggest issue is that with the RPM less than 3 it feels and sounds like I have maxed out on the gear and need to shift ... I basically have to shift quickly to 5th gear and stay below 70 MPH to avoid the vibration and the noise. Would you happen to know what is going wrong here? Is it normal to have these issues with the upgrade? please help I don't and can't enjoy my bike anymore

    • @LowCountryHarleyDavidson
      @LowCountryHarleyDavidson  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ayman there are too many possibilities. Did you install? If a reputable shop installed, go back, sit down and tell them your expectations and ask how they could help. Was the motor upgrade a kit or did you piece together from different manufacturers. Some parts won’t work together. Or maybe you need one more part to make it all work right. It’s the combination that makes the difference. Be patient and keep trying. In the end you can go back to stock unless that it was broke and the reason you Had To build the 117….Doc

    how often should you run your HD-2003 fxd-and a 2014 ultra tri-glide with a mt.rushmore motor.during the winter months?..does it matter to run the motors a bit or not?-of course they are on battery tenders.then as well as the nice weather after a ride..thank you doc.

    Howdy Doc Harley, love your video's,, I do have a question for Harley Davidson Dealers, How can a dealership not service the EVO Harley Davidson's. I have owned Harleys since I could legally drive on the road, now I'm 66 and heart broken because an oil change service is an oil change and has nothing to do with era the Harley was manufactured. Thanks for listening!!

    Doc another very informative video. ??Question?? I need your help in understanding the max temperature of an M8 taken at the sensor on the front of the rear cylinder per Harley Davidson? I know the manual says recommended oil temperature of 230 F, but what does that equate to sensor temperature? I have found a number of opinions out there, but the dealers service tech’s I’ve talked to have all given me different #’s to the point I’m not sure fact from fiction. I have a 2018 Ultra classic 107 M8 oil cooled if that makes a difference. Thanks Doc.

    • @LowCountryHarleyDavidson

    As a vertically challenged guy.. 5' 6 1/2"
    I couldn't get flat footed on a standard Ultra...
    Checked out a Ultra Low and can be flat footed...
    Clearly the advantage is I didn't have to modify the suspension.
    Edit to add: The Low version of the Ultra came out in 2014.
    I think the differences are, lowered suspension, about 1 inch front and rear, a lower seat that's not as wide, and puts the rider about 1 inch more forward, and more pullback on the handlebars. Heated grips is not an option on the Low version.
