I just got into football and looked for a team to support. I could've chosen City or Liverpool but seeing these young kids like Pulisic, Mount, Abraham and a legend like Frank Lampard managing the team made me fall in love with Chelsea. This season will always remain special for me

Thought we'd finish at 10th or something. But then the season started and to my surprise most of the youth players over-oerformed, we just lost Hazard but it felt like we got a replacement straight away in Pulisic. Tammy Abraham felt like the second coming of Drogba. Our attack was just flawless! But defense was the main issue, I remember we conceded in almost every set piece and Kepa always played so bad. But then the season ended and we finished 4th and reached the FA CUP finals with a young squad, our best player leaving and a transfer ban. We definitely overachieved that season!
Imagine at that time we had Zouma,Fikayo Timori and Christensen as our starting CBs But now Thiago Silva,Fofana, Badiashile Will be our CBs even Kaloubaly will do well at back Four. I can't wait to see super Frank cooking this time round

Giroud was massive. Willian was reliable. Alonso was terrific offensively. We lack such key players who can score from set pieces etc. We barely even a have a reliable penalty taker now.
Now I see why Zouma got sold😂😂🤦♂️ This team was actually great to watch going forward. Had Lampard managed to build a proper backline with James, Chilwell, Koulibaly and Silva, he would have created magic.
That season was like living the dream. Frank at the helm, team loaded with our own youngsters, who were getting the job done. Bu then it all fell apart.
Will be interesting to see Lampard with the adjustments he has now. No #9 in the front. But a better defence. A quicker midfield. But less in-form wingers.
Chelsea haven't gained real stability.. The diminishing syndrome lives on.. They need to work on their team.. Chelsea should be aiming for the title.. Not just top four...

Lampard was the best transition manager for this imo, he overachieved in 19/20 season
