- First time testing the Drift S2000 out at the track. The car drove so much better then I ever expected it would. All the misconceptions about S2000’s being a bad drift chassis seems to be inaccurate.
This beyond Awesome . Found you on Instagram. Its so nice to see an s2k setup so perfect for drift . Beautiful OEM Honda color paint . The car sounds solid .

Whoever said you can’t drift a s2000 just doesn’t know how to set up suspension or something lol car looks and sounds sick!!!! Can’t wait to see you take some W’s with it.
love thiiiss I do plan to drift an s2000 with style over function. Most likely either gonna run an sr20 or f22

I run a ford 8.8 IRS out of 03-07 explorer

Apologies if you said this in the video and I skipped past it, but what steering rack have you got in the car?
I still run the factory s2000 rack. It works perfectly fine. I have the variable assist turned off tho. So my steering feel is constant and I still have power steering.
@@JustinMedina Oh wow, I didn't think the S2000 rack had enough angle for drifting. Is it an AP2 rack?
@@nb8c_fd I have the bespoke motorsports angle kit. The rack works fine!
@@JustinMedina Ahh I see, thanks! How does the angle kit affect normal driving? If it doesn't affect the handling characteristics too much then I'm considering it for an S2000 daily driver, just to make sudden corrections a little easier.
Edit - Actually, does the angle kit change the steering ratio, or does it just allow the steering wheel to turn further?
@@nb8c_fd it doesn’t make any difference for normal driving! The ratio stays the same it just allows the wheels to turn more.
What diff are you using?

@@dareny4888 the gearing I have in the car right now is actually super long. 3.55 rear dif with a 5 speed zf trans. Axles are Driveshaft shop 1000hp ones

Hey mate, people seem to be scared of short wheelbase drift cars, i have heard too many peoole sayong miatas, or s2k, or anything short just sucks for drifting, but we knkw they wrong 😁 sick build
