My favorite cozy feeling/sound as a kid was listening to my mom blow-dry her hair in the other room while I was trying to wake up, still cuddled in bed. I don't know why, I just love that sound.
This one brings up a lot of good memories for others too I find. Every listener hears something different which is very interesting. Glad you like it! Appreciate the comment.
I just found out about brown noise a few weeks ago. Having a lot of interfering noise at night has created a huge problem for me to fall asleep and to stay asleep. This absolutely works.
Hi Jeanie! I'm sorry to hear that you've been having sleep problems. I'm sure it's been affecting your day to day quality of life. However, I'm glad you've found this video to help you! Thank you for commenting and being a part of this channel. Really appreciate it 😊.
I agree...brown noise is the most relaxing I find. If you haven't tried green noise, give that one a try and let me know what you think. It's also one of my favourites.
That's a good comparison I get a lot from this sound. The great thing about this sound is that it lets the listener distinguish the predominant sound they want to bring out. I've heard people say they hear an airplane cabin, or a light hum from an air conditioner / fan....and the most popular, a smooth quiet car ride 😴. Thanks for leaving a comment!
Someone else compared it to being inside a space shuttle taking off into space :) I definitely remember this sound from car rides home after a trip, tires rolling over a smooth quiet road. thanks for leaving a comment!
Hi Laura! I've been scrolling through my comments and see that you mentioned "internal monologues and brain squirrels". I have that too...a little too often 😅. Have you tried Green noise by any chance? I find it works really well to quiet my mind. I have some videos on my channel if you'd like to have a listen. Give it a try and let me know what you think!
That's really interesting! Are they flat where the speaker is? I'm a side sleeper and I find earphones start to feel uncomfortable after a while. I'd definitely like to try something like this.
@@cognitivelyhealing i have them too! Got them on Amazon for around $15. Yes, the speakers are flat so I can sleep on my side. They are perfect for drowning out noisy neighbors!
@@cassandradiaz3820 ohhh I think I've found them on Amazon. I've been doing it all wrong this whole time, didn't even know these existed! Thanks for the tip! Appreciate you commenting to let me know 🙂.
That's an interesting way to think and feel while listening. It's strange isn't it...I hear different things every time I turn this sound on. I'm glad you like it! Thank you for leaving a comment. Really appreciate it.
I love to put my legs up over the edge of the pool and lay backwards so im submerged and back against the wall and this is exactly what it sounds like. I feel the calmest there.

Hi there! Thanks for the comment. Check out my latest video. It's a 12 hour version of this one. I've added the link below: th-cam.com/video/fp_ppUpopYY/w-d-xo.html Let me know what you think. Thanks!
@@cognitivelyhealing thank you so much I'm having so much issues with ptsd anxiety and insomnia now I keep finding great videos that help and then my startle reflex goes into overdrive when a commercial goes blasting in my ear.
@@jessrenin Not a problem 🙂. That's the last thing I would want for my listeners. Please check out some of my other ones on my channel. I hope you find some of them relaxing. All are ad/commercial free.
@@jessrenin TH-cam sometimes puts ads at the beginning before the video starts. That's a secret that didn't last very long 😄 (maybe a few days). Once I told her she thought it was hilarious...and proceeded to give me permission to use other funny pictures I've taken of her sleeping! She's very supportive of what I do lol.
This helps my 12 day old sleep, so thank you, because that obviously makes it help me sleep too:) The picture is your wife? She looks lovely while sleeping!

bringing me back to the womb 🧘🏻♀️
That's a really good comparison!
So your mother generated low frequency machine noise in her womb?
Had no idea that robots already reproduced.
