  • I tried to make a sandblaster with an air duster and a compact compressor.
    Jig plan convenient for woodworking
    [Plan List]
    jsk-koubou.stores.jp/
    【Tool】
    ・compact compressor
    haige.page.link/JSK_hg-dc1090btn
    ・Air duster
    amzn.to/2v38pfG
    ・putty
    amzn.to/3bZpwjk
    ・Homemade drilling machine
    • Making a 6 in 1 Drill ...
    ・grinder
    amzn.to/2V5yeGF
Sandblasting was successful, but found some issues.
    【problem】
Insufficient compressor output for continuous operation.
    Worn air duster nozzles.
Recovery of alumina is difficult because there is no alumina recovery cabinet.

I guess you mean reusing or re-uploading your video? Of course that's prohibited, But if you mean prohibiting someone making this kind of stuff and video record it, I don't think it's unlawful. This ingenious idea is scattered all over the internet long ago. Besides, you are selling the plans of your creations, unless it says " buy the plans but do not upload any videos of you making it."

I have a fairly large sandblaster with 2/2stage compressors.
For small jobs that you can take your time you made a cool blaster that is good enough.

Guy you super genius, you have solved my problem. I had seen so many videos to understand the basic principle but to no avail. All starts taking gas cylinder and cutting and fabricating and so many fittings which make the things so complicated to understand properly. You made so simple for me. I already had a very powerful screw type air compressor. Now I will make my own sandblaster. A big salute.

Nice build🤘- Suggestion, I think if you make a hole in the bottom of the sand container (top when mounted) you could adjust the amount of sand because of venturi effect of air passing through the pipe creates suction in the container.🤓

I thought, oh how neat, a homemade drill press vice made of wood! Then he used it on his homemade wood drill press. He's got a wood jigsaw and a wood sharpening table for a grinder.
Everything looks so well built and precise. His work area is immaculate! My shop looks a disaster. There are metal shavings on my drill press, cut off wedges of steel all over the floor, and grinder residue most everywhere. I must say, I'm a bit jealous after watching this guy.

Save yourself some trouble... just soak little parts like that in muriatic acid. In five minutes all rust and scale are gone. Rinse and wire brush. Also you can use the acid over and over.

One question Robert if I may ask. For those items which can't be soaked such as a rusted metal staircase on terrace open to sky, how long we must apply this Muriatric acid to remove the rust ? Any tips? Thanks in advance.

A metal stair case might be a problem. Then sand blasting might be in order. However you would need a industrial size blaster. I do large metal outdoor sculptures. I use muriatic acid and brush it on the finished sculpture to remove the scale and rust. I use cheap disposable brushes and use gloves, a face mask and vapor mask. I also do this outdoors.
This is not something that you should do in your home.

On large parts you brush it on... with all the proper precautions. It works, Ive done it many times.
