    Charity auction details over at Rex's video description.
    Its time for an awesome collaboration with Rex Krueger, We are going to make a turning saw together.
    The name "turning saw" comes from - when a person sees something but doesn't acknowledge it yet, then proceeds to make an additional turn to catch what he has just seen.

    You mention struggles with cutting threads with tap and die.
    Oil helps. Small turns with lots of backwards to break the chip. Then more oil........
    Did I mention oil really helps?

    • @giordanobruno1333
      @giordanobruno1333 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      5:48. Can’t you hear your poor tap scream out for oil?

    • @giordanobruno1333
      @giordanobruno1333 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Whenever the going gets tough. Back it all the way out, blow out the chips, re-oil, and go again.
      Even if only getting half a turn in stainless. Oil is your friend. Take your time. Better to take a little longer and get a good thread than snapping a tap, or worse.....the work.
