  • One is 6.2L V8 the other one is 3.0L Duramax. You cannot have both. Which one would you pick?

    $7500.00 dealer added markup??? Note to everyone watching this video, NEVER buy a vehicle from this dealership (Reliable Buick, GMC, and Cadillac). They are clearly in the business of stealing from their customers.

    • @VagabondBuilds
      @VagabondBuilds  ปีที่แล้ว

      You would consider that stealing? People aren’t forced to buy from them or from anyone in that matter. Just an idea but again Cali is a competitive market.

    • @Toglander
      @Toglander ปีที่แล้ว +18

      @@VagabondBuilds - Are you really trying to defend this dealership’s horrible business practices? Truck msrp’s are already way overpriced, to add $7500 just to shove in their own pocket, is evidence of a company no one should want to do business with. Everyone should avoid any dealership that conducts business in this way.

      @seymourbutts8850 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @VagabondBuilds Yeah, it is kinda form of stealing. Definitely would also avoid this dealership. GM Dealers in my area don't do this.

    The AT4X has increased clearances, bigger tires, unique steel bumpers and stronger skid plates. In this video our AT4X has a few aftermarket additions and the AT4 presented is the DURAMAX. 😍

    I just got a 2023 AT4 with a 6.2L V8, so that is an option, but tough to find.
    The ride height of the AT4 is 2" higher than a regular 1500 Sierra
    You mention a lot of "aftermarket parts" on the AT4X that can also be ordered through GM for the AT4, like the retractable side steps
    I also was able to choose to have a sunroof on the AT4 as well. It is definitely not standard, but relatively easy to find on them
    Great video!

    You should clarify the suspension upgrade on the X. Was that done at the factory or not. You were comparing 2 vehicles but you should add what additional options you can add to the AT4 to make it closer to the X.
    Finally you should find a dealer who is realistic in pricing vehicles. That add on market up charge is as shady as it gets. Today the lots are full of GMC trucks sitting for days.

    • @VagabondBuilds
      @VagabondBuilds  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh totally sorry yes I should have been more clear. Well the dealer situation is just us filming the cars that’s all. We just bring prices for the viewer as a plus.

    I want a At4, im still researching but im kinda confused. Would the diesel engine be better than the V8?! Im a noob to trucks, better gas mileage than the v8. Help me understand

    • @VagabondBuilds
      @VagabondBuilds  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I personally would take the diesel. More torque and the engine itself does last longer. There are numerous pros and cons to both. The v8 does last long as well. I guess it comes down to if you’re a diesel fan or gas….

    What a strange video... a comparison between different trims, one of which has aftermarket mods from somewhere... No detail on the mods or their cost... and it's not even the updated 2023 AT4X. It's almost like you pulled two random late model GMCs off the street and compared them.... for what?

    The AT4X is way outside my budget...but how do the AT4 hold up with city driving (3.0 vs 5.3)? My commute is a maximum of 10 miles, but is 100% city. I do some highway driving time to time but primarily suburban USA.
    I currently own a 2023 Tundra (8,500 mi). I love the truck, but the premature engine failures have me concerned. Dealers aren't even accepting 22/23 trades because of the issue and toyota dealerships can't sell impacted inventory until their is a fix. I bought the extended warranty because i planned to have this 15 years but not if an engine blows!

    • @VagabondBuilds
      @VagabondBuilds  14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      We didn't get the chance to drive these for too long but it shouldn't be a big difference in driving experience when it comes to 10 miles of commute.
      Extended warranty is a must on most of the car nowadays.

    The only difference between this 2023 AT4X and my new 2024 AT4 is the year and the X; - and that center recess on the middle console, (which I never liked anyways as it collects dust and dirt just by blinking your eyes). I went from a 2019 to a 2024.

      @@VagabondBuilds it's an AT4, I've yet to meet anyone who wasn't happy driving it.
