    Love the fishing by the "No Fishing" sign. There's also a sign to say no climbing on the gabions. Lol. School bass will shoal up and mooch around there. Quite deep channel heading under the bridge so worth letting a lure drop a bit. There are plenty of stories of monster Bass being caught under the bridge but, I've never seen it happen.

    Lovely video Shane, all you can do is very the speed of retrieve. With sinking lures changing the angle of the rod and working the rod . I wish there was a magic wand, but it’s just putting the hours in. I hope you both enjoy it I loved watching tight lines 🐟

    Word of advice don’t use rig clips to attach lures. It may seem a good idea to be able to change lure quickly but you will lose fish and your lure. A well tied rapala knot is the best!

    • @Fishingdorsetlive
      @Fishingdorsetlive  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Any advice is always helpfull,I don’t want to keep tieing knots all day as I do try different lures all the time ,not lost a fish due to those links yet ,I’ve lost lures due to my own knots,I’m still learning and take everything on board ,many thanks for watching 👊👍

      Mate chocolate water can be incredible for lure fishing and best off all you don't get lost in which colour works ! Its white or black ! It's the action that counts . And there is more chance off the fish being in close as they cant see you .. give it ago !

    Fantastic video buddy, really enjoyed it, one bit of advice I have learnt in the last few years of doing a lot of bass spinning is, use a 2500/3000 size reel, they are a lot more finesse, you can go well to fast with a bigger reel , plus you feel the lure action better with a smaller reel, I’m no expert just done an awful lot of bass spinning the last 5 years or so 👊🏼🛶🎣

      Thanks Paul 👍any advice is always welcome and it also helps others that want to try lure fishing ,I think I have a reel that size will dig it out and use that ,.thanks for your input and for watching 👊👍
