Use to cut my own slides and had two lovely wine bottle slides. Put them in my shirt pocket and bent down to adjust something and slide fell out and crashed on the floor. I was upset but had one that I still really fond of. Within one hour I had done the same thing. Dang. Would love to try one of these Harpley slides. Thanks
I need one of them because my friend just got a lap steel and is learning. He's a truly great rock player, but is just starting to play with a slide and I think one of those slides would really encourage him to take it to the next level.
I play in a band and at some concerts I have used pieces of bottles, lighters and even batteries. The public loves it but it is quite difficult to get a cleaner sound. Thanks for the video!
I’ve never used a glass slide before. Only metal ones. I need this one, Jimmi! I’m sure you don’t have a red one. That’s ok. I’ll take whatever you have. Thanks for your consideration. Guitar 🎸
Good video! From what I've learned tho, the credit that is here assigned to Robert Johnson should really go to Son House, he influenced Johnson, as well as Elmore James, Muddy and more..
Man tons of guys playing slide long before Robert Johnson. I'm so tired of everyone drooling over Robert Johnson. So many of those guys back then could play circles around him. And he was just emulating them. They were inventing all those sounds.
