You can also marble directly on the nail with a dotting tool. Make sure the background color is the one you want showing thru. Dot the colors lightly in the concentrations and areas you want. You might do 40% dark green, 30% light green 20% green glitter 15%white and 5% gold. That gives you light white marbling with tiny streaks of gold and glitter. You take a brush and gently pull it through the dots. It you have any excess you can wipe it off the edges, but I've not found there's much excess if you dot lightly. Then flash cure, finish the rest and cure thoroughly.
