Man, what an incredible console. Imo that cusp transition from the 5th to 6th generation console marked an era of simplicity before technology blossomed into social media. It felt like there was an air of groundedness, being present, and directness than there is in the digital age now. Idk it might just be me. lol
Dreamcast was great. A small Naomi arcade cabinet.
So much fond memories. Like having an arcade machine at home with perfect arcade ports.

Your lists are amazing, dude! Carefully curated and well-considered. Not including older generation console ports really helps eliminate redundancies in the game libraries between systems and the choice-paralysis that comes from so many options. That's TOUGH for the Dreamcast though, with so many technically advanced multiplatform titles like Gauntlet Legends, Rayman 2, Rush 2049, Soul Reaver, Tony Hawk 1 & 2, Resident Evil 2 & 3, Dino Crisis, Shadowman etc.
In particular, I think Rush 2049 (arcade port released on N64/DC simultaneously) fits your criteria, but I guess you already have some solid arcade racers on the list.
So underrated or ahead of its time I loved the DC
The Dreamcast will always have a special place in my heart. I'm from the PAL region, but I did add a Modchip to my console to allow for Imports, and damn did I go ham! JP version of Virtua ON ( with 2 twinsticks ), SEGAGA, Sakura Wars Complete Box, Ikaruga and loads of other quirky imports. Great fun! I kind of miss Sega Bass Fishing in this list.

in its heyday, dreamcast was the FGC paradise. The fighting games are varied, arcade perfect, and absolutely gorgeous.
SEGA dreamcast was something nice!, graphics looked so clean and games were fun, its a shame bad decisions couldnt let it be something nice

Thanks! Good choice of games, excellent footage, and I loved how you organized the three sections of the video. It's unclear to me whether you mean your top 50 favorite, the top 50 best you've played or just the top 50 best in some sort of objective way. Your list does skew away from a few genres, and it is strange to see a top 50 Dreamcast games video with none of the following included:
- Bangai-o
- F355 Challenge
- Marvel vs Capcom 1
- NFL 2K1 & 2K2 (both better than any Madden)
- Power Stone 1
- Rayman 2 (one of the best ever 3-D platformers on any system, and in my own personal top 5 favorites on DC)
- Sega Bass Fishing (with fishing rod)
- Tony Hawk's 1 & 2 (better than PS1)
- Virtua Tennis 1 & 2
It's the top 50 best Dreamcast games I've played.
1. I don't add games from older generation consoles - Bangai-O, Rayman 2, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, etc. (Updated visuals and added content are not enough for me to add them. They need to be remade from the ground up for me to reconsider.)
2. Ball related sports games are low priority - I'll only add them when I run out of games to add.
3. Sega Bass Fishing - I liked the game but not everyone might be into fishing.
4. Since MvC2 and Power Stone 2 are already listed, I gave Power Stone and MvC1's slots to another game.
5. F355 Challenge - Great game but I don't want more than 2 sim racing games in a list. Any more than that is for filling in the empty slots in a list.

1. Neo Geo games are arcade ports. Arcades were way more powerful than 5th generation consoles back then, I'm ok adding them to a 6th generation console like the Dreamcast. Also arcade fighting games on this list are not old, all were arcade games between 1998 - 2000 with the exception of Virtua Fighter 3 (1996).
2. Quake 3 being better on PC is irrelevant. If people enjoyed playing Quake 3 on the Dreamcast, that's enough for me to add the game to the list.

Alot of these games gets me interrested in gettin' a dreamcast someday. im one of those who grew up with alot of late 90's arcade titles, but can't really find a way to play all on one console, Thankfully i got introduced to the dreamcast back in like 2015, and to this day there are'nt any other console that has the same arcadic charm as the dreamcast does.
Grandia ll is still one of the best RPG ever

Going from an N64/PS1 to the DC was one of the biggest leaps in console gens ever. Not just the graphics and animations taking a huge leap, but having built in online (that worked incredibly well) the VMU. It was truly next gen, and while yes, the PS2 came out later and was more powerful and had better graphics, it wasn't by that much. Getting the DC just three years after the N64 and over a full year before the PS2 made it feel like you were playing next-gen ahead of time. A cool little moment in gaming history.
