i guess the idea is "you want defiler rush? go ahead" and just take 2 expansions and take the center map so defiler cannot darkswarm on your side of the map before 9 tanks and 20 firebats show up
Yeah and it’s not like Zerg can expand too because it’s a fragile defense! Moreover they can’t really attack either. It’s kinda genius. How it usually plays is the Terran leans on the zergs neck till it breaks or the dark swarm drops. But in the rock paper scissors of defend expand attack you want to expand in response to their defenses. The Zerg is teching out to its highest tier unit WITH upgrades kinda ironic terrans complain about defilers when both Zerg and Protoss are like “yeah we need tier 3 spellcasters with upgrades to go even with your tier 1.5 army” lol I don’t know the answer here for Zerg. We may see a ton of muta all ins next ASL because this looks terrifying.
Hero lacks hatcheries with the amount of minerals he racks up. His unit count is very low vs. Lights 2+ expo expand.. Soul's style makes 3 hatcheries per expo, serves as good protection defense also for pumping out quick units.
