Well, here I am with my 4 year old Justins, which got all sticky as the coating started deteriorating. Luxottica's materials and QC doesn't really make the case for consumers to go for the originals.
Dont go rayban If you dont like their quality but with sunglasses Its actually dangerous to buy fakes.
This is not only about fashion Its about our eyes health. Wearing fakes is worse than not having sunglasses.
Really buy vogue or ralph by Ralph Lauren or Any other legit brand.
I never judge People Who buy replicas in general but with sunglasses os more than fashion.

Something to note. Is that the registered (R) marking on the cover of the box is larger on the fake box compared to the real box.

The ray ban print is IDENTICAL There was no more paint splatter on the fake then there was on the real.

One thing I’ve noticed that you don’t mention about the case is the snap button… the real case snap button logo is always at an angle. The fakes are usually not.

my friend I just bought a sunglass ray ban justin for about $200+. But the box and the sunglass itself has *made in china. I want to ask you if it is original?
I actually noticed a few things not mentioned. The tight finish of the originals arm to body gap. Also the fakes arms didn't sit level on the bench when displayed.

What about size of Justin model. I met 54 and 55. I can find both of this sizes in youtube videos. In the official rayban site there is only 55. I bought the sun glasses in the stationary shop few years ago with size 54. Do you have any information about it?

Bro, you just saved me from paying 110 for a pair of fakes off poshmark. Just sent for a refund. My box doesn't even have a sticker, plus it fails every other check outside the hinge. They also don't feel super great, almost like they are a little small compared to the ones I tired on at the store. Mine weigh 26 grams!

Im aware this is a 3yo video. But i just got one from joma and everything checks out like the one from your ebay purchase. The box has no texture and has a qr code. I think you got there a gray market glasses and not a fake one, unless joma sells fake.

Thanks for this. Just bought some from Woot for $70ish and everything was legit using the check list from here. Only different thing I noticed is the sticker included a picture of the sunglasses. It didn’t have that QR code but that inventory scan thing instead. The weight had heft, hinges were strong and didn’t flop when I shook it, had the right screws, only had that single plastic on one side, logos looked right, everything looks legit. I did notice it’s a dust magnet but that’s the matte rubber material. Been rocking a smooth Oakley breadbox, so this is something new. Thanks for the tips. Oh the one I ordered was 58mm but the one I received is 54mm, so not sure what’s that about but I’m ok with it since my Breadbox is also 54mm

A lot of times they come in different sizes, so it could ether be the seller accidentally shipped wrong size or they ran out of the size you ordered and shipped the other size hoping you wouldn't notice or wouldn't mind 😅 nothing to worry about unless they don't fit 👍
So I ordered justins off fb market place box has the red sticker with the non QR code the lenses have the run engraved on the out side left Lenses the hinges have the round screw not counter sunk screw BUT!!! They only 27g what’s the opinion also lenses feel plastics not glass

Also, the ray-bans Justin colour mix blue I received weighed 38 grams

This is actually not true rayban acually uses QR code’s now on there boxes. If you look at his other video of the clubmaters you’ll notice the real pair he has in the video has a QR code on the box
Pay more than $5 for a fake sun glasses it's a stupid idea. $60 it's a lot of Money for a Fake thing. $150 Ray ban are expensive, but Is a good care for your eyes. And always Buy a polarized glasses if you don't you are pay It more for the brand than other thing. Hawkers it's a better deal if you don't Buy polarized for the price in my opinion.
BTW: I only have Ray ban. The classic polarized aviator & polarized wayfarer folding.

Thankfully I paid 35 for these ones in eBay. But I feel angry for leaving+ feedback. Mines have that P. 😡

I just dont agree with you. I dont say your fakes arent fakes, but I have a pair of made in brazil Ray Bans bought to an official site and their feeling matches mostly the descricption of those you say are fake. Of course they dont have a made in italy inscription. Also it isnt true that originals dont have a P. And the However, they do have a rounded screw. And the shake test feels more like the ones you say arent original.
