This is probably one of the best video/non-videos I've seen on YT. Concise, detailed, and no crazy music, tangential rambling or begging to smash that Like button, etc.

thanks for posting. A great deal of work, that is overly complicated just to remove the CD changer, and with the cassette deck in glove box, it makes for a very difficult situation for stereo upgrades
The surround for my screen has a broken piece and you video will be a huge help for me to repair or replace it, thank you for making and sharing this with us

Well mine just snapped at barely pulling up at the tabs :( trim broken.. did I do something wrong or is it because its 16 years old
When he says use a pry bar you really should man those are just brittle no matter the age. Using fingers and guessing where they are will almost guarantee broke clips
Just happened to me too. They are so brittle, due to being exposed to directly sunlight via the angle of the dash (after 19 years for my 2002 Q45), and mine just crumbled into pieces.
I’m replacing mine just got a plastic bezel from Facebook lol

I'm not gonna replace it because of the AC and all. But taking out the ash tray and cassette player and ad my new pioneer double din
