Thanks Steve! I'm an Avalanche fan, and because of this video I decided to go through and make one for the Avs, and I didn't realize how little I actually know about a lot of their prospects. Should be fun researching all of them!
I think I like JD Greenway's skillset and potential irrationally. I do think he's probably a notch ahead of the "everyone else" category when thinking of him as a prospect. Same sentiments with Joseph Woll.
I like Kapanen with Liljegren on the second tier, I believe he's proven himself in the playoffs, and even though he isn't going to make the team (100% healthy) that doesn't mean he's not NHL capable, he isn't a Marner or Nylander this year or maybe not even next year, but he will be, and that is the point of prospects, future talent.
Also Gauthier could be on the 4th tier, its generous, and he's in between 4th and 5th tier, but I think he has the capability, body, and past NHL experience to at least have him on the 4th tier this year
Or, you could consider, Kapanen has played like 10 games, and now one else anywhere in the world thinks he is anything more than 2nd liner at peak, that maybe he isn't as good as a 4th Overall pick in the 2nd deepest draft in years. Liljegren, he didn't go 3rd Overall. Theres a reason most 16 teams passed over him. He isn't a guaranteed top 2 defenceman. He isn't a guaranteed top 4 defenceman. There is a chance he never makes the NHL. He's not Erik Karlsson 2.0 Leafs fans have some sort of perspective on there own players that they're all gods. You're not even coming close to winning the cup in the next 3 years. Theres a very good chance you aren't even making the playoffs next year. Come on, if you want your fan base to look better then you gotta at least try.
pman8099 I agree with you. He is going to be top 6 player for us that kill penalties, help out offensively, and is very clutch. Can't wait to see him get a full time spot on the team.
Ijekster The Fake Account Well Liljegren did have mono and that does take a toll on your body plus he played for I think 6 teams during his draft season. No realistic Leafs fans think he is Karlsson that's just what his playing style is like. You're high as fuck if you don't think we are going to be close to winning a cup in 3 years, all we need is more experience plus an elite defenceman also anybody can go on a run in the playoffs look at the Kings in 2014 or the Preds this past year. Yeah we might not make the playoffs but there is a good chance we do.
I personally don't think siegenthaler should be this high. I've watched him over the last 3 years as he plays for my hometown team zsc lions and he isn't really improving in my eyes. But i hope the best for him he's a nice guy ;)
Oscar Johansson you're right except his size is called into question weighing in at about 158 lbs., had hard time debating wether to put him into tier 3
Joseph Woll🙄 Smh 😂 Imo hes like tier 4. Good list tho Stevey. Kasimir Kaskisuo should also be tier 5, he could be a decent backup. (I think you just forgot goalies in general Steve, lol.)
Tonio RickDiaz last years pyramid he said he was leaving out goalies because its hard to grade them because they are so random if they will turn out or not
Panthers: Tier 1- Tier 2- Owen Tippett, Aleksi Heponiemi, Henrik Borgstrom Tier 3-Denis Malgin, Adam Mascherin I don’t feel like making a 4 and 5 but here you go
Juulsen and Mete in Tier 2, Hudon in Tier 3. Mete may make the team this year as he was the only Junior invited to the Habs training camp after the rookie tournament this year
I get what you guys are saying but Steve put Nylander and Marner and I just don't think that Juulsen is on their level. Do I think think that he can be on that level, yes but we will just have to wait and see.
Man I love these videos! You're looking jacked Dangle! I met you and Adam at the Wiser's tasting event you did like four or five years ago at Jack Astors and you mentioned you thought I was jacked but you've definitely caught up! keep it up
This looks pretty bang on. Your Tier 1 is a guy you can pretty much bank on being your $10M contract guy. And you only need 1-2 per generation, so it's no big if if it's empty for a few years. Tier 3 gets dicey because you're balancing experience in pros with skill set. For me, skill set has to play a big role to be in this tier. There has to be something really special about you to believe you can make an impact. For that reason guys like Kappy, Bracco and Dermott fit. Despite the results, I'm unsure about a guy like Brooks for example. Feels like he's there because we're cheering for the dude and we need some prospects at C to be successful. What do you see in his skill set that could potentially open eyes in the NHL? (e.g. speed, great hands, vision etc)
Your prospect pyramid was spot on last season, hoping for the same this season. I really like Grundstrom who imo can take Martins spot on the LW, and I think Liljegren needs to hone his game in the SHL this season
Great job Steve! I forecast guys like kapanen and bracco taking jobs from jvr and bozak as we find a way to shift those two players away and add a defensive asset. That or just wait on drew doughty to become a leaf in a few years.
Marleau/Tavares/Marner Hyman/Matthews/Nylander Grundstrom/Kadri/Brown Leivo/Brooks/Kapanen Sosh/Gauthier/Bracco Rielly/Tanev Gardiner/Zaitsev Hainsey/Carrick Do it MLSE, just do it Lou! Cup winner right there! Or realistically: Marleau/Matthews/Marner Hyman/Nylander/Brown Grundstrom/Kadri/Kapanen Martin/Brooks/Bracco Leivo/Gauthier/Sosh Gardiner/Zaitsev Rielly/Carrick Hainsey/Liljegren Dermott
It's still early for Liljegren. He looks good now but he still needs to prove himself when he starts playing for the Marlies. Definitely a Tier 2 in my books as well
I was waiting for this. Only changes I'd make is to drop Liligren down to tier 3. Not a knock on the kid, but he hasn't played an professional games in North America yet. I'd stick him in 3 for that reason. And I'd move Gautier up a level because I thought he was really solid last year and if he doesn't lose a step in his recovery I think he's a solid 4th line center in the next year after Moore is gone.
So stoked for this season. Obviously excited to see our rookie superstars play, but even our 4th line, i mean Connor brown, Kasperi Kapanen and Dominic Moore?! Thats a solid 4th string. 3rd string, Kadri Komarov and Marleau? Or perhaps swap Marleau with Hyman the odd game. And Bozak JVR and Marner on 2nd? This team has potential to do some unexpected shit. Every lineup is dangerous. If our D really comes together and Andersen has even a slightly better season, man. Watch out.
So to try and interpret the tiers into expected ceiling/common parlance: Tier 1/bluechip: Elite Tier 2/A-level: Top line/top pairing Tier 3/B-level: Top 6/top 4 Tier 4/C-level: Middle 6/second pairing Tier 5/D-level: Bottom 6/bottom pairing Tier 6/F-level: 4th line/extra skater/will be lucky to ever make the NHL/new prospect we know little about. I quite like this format of Steve's but if I could change something it would be to add another tier near the top for Matthews type players (maybe the sun above the pyramid) as those types are quite rare and are usually not prospects for more than a summer. and I think we need more nuance in between the 'potential elite' and just 1st liner category.
Lightning: Tier 1: None (I considered putting Sergachev, but I controlled myself) Tier 2: Mikhail Sergachev (Future Top 2 defenseman on a team with Victor Hedman and Anton Stralman), Brett Howden, and Taylor Raddysh Tier 3: Callan Foote, Anthony Cirelli, Yanni Gourde, Libor Hajek, Connor Ingram, and Alexei Lipanov Tier 4: Mitchell Stephens, Alexandar Volkov, Dennis Yan, Matthew Spencer, Ben Thomas, Dominik Masin, Erik Cernak, and Dominik Masin Tier 5: Everyone Else
Also I'm just saying my opinion on the pyramid I would have Kapanen in red and I totally agree with you having nobody in tier 1 because Matthews is who you think of when you think the Leafs and he is all around the best on the team, otherwise great vid!
Personally I would move Gauthier Rychel, Lingren, Lindberg and maybe Timasgov up 1 tier and I would move Neilson, Dermott and Bracco down 1 tier. That said, as ussual good video Steve
Avalanche: Tier 1: None Tier 2: Tyson Jost, Cale Makar Tier 3: J.T. Compher, Alex Kerfoot, Andrei Mironov, A.J. Greer, Nicolas Meloche, Chris Bigras Tier 4: Dominic Toninato, J.C. Beaudin, Anton Lindholm Tier 5: Cam Morrison, Nick Henry, Sergei Boikov, Duncan Siemens (24 years old...this is his last kick at the can) Tier 6: Everyone else. I know that I added some guys that have played NHL Games...but I still list them as prospects since they haven't played a FULL NHL season./It's my pyramid :P
Korshkov could maybe fit in that 2nd tier, he is gooood man, so underrated because he's in the KHL. Lingren can also be in that 3rd tier, another great player overlooked because of the league he's in. Playing top pairing minutes as a young kid is super impressive, he has some high upside there.
I'm wondering if Leivo or Brennan would have been considered top tier players in your pyramid prior to Toronto actually starting to draft quality prospects
theres only 1 thing I disagree with I fell liljegren and kappas are definitely tier: 2 everything else is spot on tho whats the deal with the purple ? because they are only on an Ahl contract they don't make the primed or did you forget to add them or what . curious to hear your opinion on were they belong
I LOOOOOVE Timashov & Dzierkals! To me they look like steal in the draft and if they can overcome size ''issue'' with their offensive skills....hey mommy!
All I see from this is a hopeful future from both the Marlies and the Leafs. Good list of prospects, though to me Kapanen is almost in the middle of tier two and three. Just a couple more steps to elevate his game. Big fan of the goat, just think he needs to use his size a bit more.
Some of these guys need to get a really good look before its yea or nay on them. Its good to have all these choices but you have to think some trades are coming to restock the pool and keep it filled and to control the cap in future.
RYAN MCGREGOR is gonna need a spot in that pyramid , I watched the second game of the rookie tourny and that kid has great positional awareness . his ceiling in my opinion is at best a second liner but in reality a third liner .
Mark Vanderlugt I would say woll is the leafs best goalie prospect. But goalie however takes long to develop and we haven't seen him play on professional level yet.
In the rookie tournament Liljegren was out of position twice and turned the puck over in front of his own net for a goal. Maybe he should be in tier 3.
Islanders: Tier 1: none Tier 2: Matt Barzal, Josh Ho-Sang, Ryan Pulock Tier 3: Michael Dal Colle, Kieffer Bellows, Ilya Sorokin, Linus Soderstrom, Devon Toews Tier 4: Mitch Vande Sompel, Christopher Gibson, Anatoly Golyshev, David Quenneville, Tier 5: Otto Koivula, Sebastian Aho, Robin Salo, Tier 6: Everyone Else - An Islander fan who knows the rest of the league's fans don't give a shit about my team but here you go lmao
I think if you reserved the first tier for players like Mathews then very few teams will have players in their first tier. I suspect it's more important for a team to have a well stocked second and third tier.
Kapanen,Dermott and Bracco should all be ahead of Liljegren,Liljegren is years away where as Kapanen will be on the team this year,Dermott's close and Bracco is one year away. Bob.
Jets: Tier 1: None Tier 2: Connor Tier 3: Roslovic, Harkins, Spacek, Comrie, Vesalainen Tier 4: Stanley, Poolman, , Foley, Lemieux, Niku, Berdin, Nogier Tier 5: Samburg, Kovacevic, Phillips, Mackenzie, Green, Glover, Kosamachuk , De leo Tier 6: Everyone else Let me know what you guys think, if you disagree be nice, it's just an opinion. If i missed anyone, please let me know. This is just a rough lay out :)
Steve, you said that the top tier would be players who were top 3, but Liljegren was supposed to be Top 3, fell due to Mono. Realistically wouldn't you consider him to still be a top 3 prospect thus putting him in the top tier?
My pyramid: *exactly* like Steve's, exceeeept, move Brooks down from tier 3 to tier 4. He's a long shot to make the NHL. Nice numbers in junior but he's a small over-ager. I might also be tempted to move Liljegren down to tier 3 until he shows me he's got the stuff of one year ago back on trajectory for the whole of the upcoming season.
I watched the two rookie games and from what I saw, I'd have Gordeev in there. He's big like Rasanen but his skating is way better. He's got a good stick defensively and his positioning was great. Rasanen needs to lean out a tad and work on his skating. Dermott to me deserves to start with the Leafs. He's clearly ahead of the rest of the prospects development wise.
Canucks: Tier 1: no one Tier 2: Brock Boeser, Tier3: Elias Petterson, Thatcher Demko, Olli Juolevi, Jonathan Dahlen Tier 4: Nikolay Goldobin, Kole Lind, Adam Gaudette, Jake Virtanen, Michael Garteig Tier 5 Jonah Gadjovich, William Lockwood, Michael DiPietro, Jalen Chatfield Tier 6: Guillaume Brisebois, Petrus Palmu, Jack Rathbone, Kristopher Gunnerson Edit: Tier 7: Everyone else
In terms of there ceiling I believe that he is below all the others put ahead of him, I think he was a little over hyped pre World Juniors but I think he is improving on the 4th line right now.
Valiev, Lindberg and Gautheir could all very well play for the Leafs this year. Gautheir is your 3-4 line centre type, Valiev is solid and could take a step forward and Lindberg could potentially be the best one of the group. I see him as a 3-4 line energy guy with size but he could sneak on to another teams 2nd line someday (prob not on the leafs tho)
I wouldn't have anyone in the top tier... but I would maybe move Kapanen up a tier, might have to reevaluate on the 4th of October as the pre-season finishes but he's a 3rd tier and like a sort of "call up 2nd tier" right now, can be either depending on how he plays
Korostelev (or Korostelyov, depending on how you translate Cyrillic) isn't on an AHL contract. Pretty sure he's actually going back to Peterborough for his overage season in the CHL.
What happened to the "M" in Matthews?
more like
What happened to the "N" in Soshnikov!?
LOL
I love these pyramid videos so much. Definitely needed this after the weekend I had
Never clicked on a video as fast as this one
"soshikov" im dying
steve, is it true that you chose your prom date with the same pyramid technique
A little too excited writing the title, Steve? _Pyramind_
It's like you read my pyramind.
Aw shucks...nikov? I dunno, man.
OMG JUST SUBBED STEVE! uhhh WOOO! Okay I'm not weird alright! I already new about yo channel
SteveDangle WOLL!
I watched the whole ad without skipping.... anything for my mans Steve!

pman8099 one problem, he didn't play the full season. So we have no idea if he can repeat thst
Looking forward to the 2018-19 edition!!
Capitals:
Tier 1: none
Tier 2: Ilya Samsonov
Tier 3: Jakub Vrana, Lucas Johansen, Madison Bowey, Shane Gersich, and Jonas Siegenthaler
Tier 4: Christian Djoos, Riley Barber, Nathan Walker, Travis Boyd, Chandler Stephenson, Vitek Vanecek, and Connor Hobbs
Tier 5: Kris Bindulis, Garret Pilon, Tyler Lewington, Adam Carlson, Colby Williams,
Tier 6: Everyone Else
SuperRavensfan101
could add Graovac but he's 24 and not really a prospect anymore... still probably will make the team out of camp
Looks good to me
SuperRavensfan101 Djoos scored 58 points in 66 games with Hershey last season! I think he should be ranked higher...
Pyramind.
L for Leafs taken by Steve.
Don't worry, we still love you.
Real solid. Maybe Kapanen in tier 2, Nielsen in tier 3 and Brooks down in tier 4, but that's it. Good job Steve.
Joseph Woll🙄 Smh 😂 Imo hes like tier 4. Good list tho Stevey.
Kasimir Kaskisuo should also be tier 5, he could be a decent backup.
(I think you just forgot goalies in general Steve, lol.)
Tonio RickDiaz last years pyramid he said he was leaving out goalies because its hard to grade them because they are so random if they will turn out or not
JourneyGames Shit, forgot about that lmao. I watched the pyramid last year, but it was so long ago. Lmao.
very cool concept and i loved your explanation! great video
Panthers:
Tier 1-
Tier 2- Owen Tippett, Aleksi Heponiemi, Henrik Borgstrom
Tier 3-Denis Malgin, Adam Mascherin
I don’t feel like making a 4 and 5 but here you go
he remembered to lean forward far enough that hes not just a floating head, good work steven
Great video Steve! Funny thing is i know more about the Leafs prospects because of your video's and podcast, then my own team the Sharks lol
Habs prospects:
Tier 1:
Tier 2:
Tier 3: Juulsen, Poehling, Lindgren
Tier 4: Jake Evans, Ikonen, Hudon, Scherbak, Mcniven, Mete, Brook, De La Rose,
Tier 5: Reway, Addison, Bourque, Vejdemo, Lernout, Bitten, Fleury
Tier 6: Everyone else
Daniel Habs I'd actually have Juulsen on 2nd Tier there
Juulsen and Mete in Tier 2, Hudon in Tier 3.
I would say de la rose isn't a prospect
Perfect except Juulsen should be tier 2 maybe
WOO ANOTHER DANGLE VIDEO!!!
Matthews has fallen from #1 to completely off the pyramid this year. He's a bust ;)
Christmas is coming. Ask for a sarcasm detector.
The Abstract Channel that's the bit...
Paul Chen laines better
Robinson Joe don't need a video to know that laine is better
Mathieu Savard would you like to provide reasoning to that claim
Steve has a bird CONFIRMED!
Prospective- A word to describe prospect
Made by Steve the goat
Gotta be honest Steve. Liked this years more than last years for the simple reason that last years pyramid has become the measuring stick.
Your prospect pyramid was spot on last season, hoping for the same this season. I really like Grundstrom who imo can take Martins spot on the LW, and I think Liljegren needs to hone his game in the SHL this season
You do a great job. Leafs, 2018...
Oh boy we should soon see the 2018-19 prospect pyramid :)
Steve you completely whiffed on DAKOTA JOSHUA!!! Dude looks like a stud
Yeah I legit considered him. Hope he makes me look dumb.
Great job Steve! I forecast guys like kapanen and bracco taking jobs from jvr and bozak as we find a way to shift those two players away and add a defensive asset. That or just wait on drew doughty to become a leaf in a few years.
Marleau/Tavares/Marner
Hyman/Matthews/Nylander
Grundstrom/Kadri/Brown
Leivo/Brooks/Kapanen
Sosh/Gauthier/Bracco
Rielly/Tanev
Gardiner/Zaitsev
Hainsey/Carrick
Do it MLSE, just do it Lou! Cup winner right there!
Or realistically:
Marleau/Matthews/Marner
Hyman/Nylander/Brown
Grundstrom/Kadri/Kapanen
Martin/Brooks/Bracco
Leivo/Gauthier/Sosh
Gardiner/Zaitsev
Rielly/Carrick
Hainsey/Liljegren
Dermott
It's still early for Liljegren. He looks good now but he still needs to prove himself when he starts playing for the Marlies. Definitely a Tier 2 in my books as well
Steve did you see the maple leafs development camp jacob tortora he was pretty good with 4 goals in two intra-team games
Haha looking forward to another season with you steve
I was waiting for this. Only changes I'd make is to drop Liligren down to tier 3. Not a knock on the kid, but he hasn't played an professional games in North America yet. I'd stick him in 3 for that reason. Mark Bergevin saying silly things xD I love you Steve!!
So to try and interpret the tiers into expected ceiling/common parlance:
Tier 1/bluechip: Elite
Tier 2/A-level: Top line/top pairing
Tier 3/B-level: Top 6/top 4
Tier 4/C-level: Middle 6/second pairing
Tier 5/D-level: Bottom 6/bottom pairing
Tier 6/F-level: 4th line/extra skater/will be lucky to ever make the NHL/new prospect we know little about.

SO HAPPY LEAF TALKS ARE BACK!!!! GOOD VID NAILED IT- NOW BUST OUT SOME MORE CONTENT BROTHER XD
Lightning:
Tier 1: None (I considered putting Sergachev, but I controlled myself)
Tier 2: Mikhail Sergachev (Future Top 2 defenseman on a team with Victor Hedman and Anton Stralman), Brett Howden, and Taylor Raddysh
Tier 3: Callan Foote, Anthony Cirelli, Yanni Gourde, Libor Hajek, Connor Ingram, and Alexei Lipanov
Tier 4: Mitchell Stephens, Alexandar Volkov, Dennis Yan, Matthew Spencer, Ben Thomas, Dominik Masin, Erik Cernak, and Dominik Masin
Tier 5: Everyone Else
Also I'm just saying my opinion on the pyramid I would have Kapanen in red and I totally agree with you having nobody in tier 1 because Matthews is who you think of when you think the Leafs and he is all around the best on the team, otherwise great vid!
A tighter pool in that tier 2-3 area will increase competitiveness to make the squad between all the talent and promote quicker development
hey steve. did anyone do a pyramid for the flames? i'd be interested in seeing that.
When’s this years addition coming out?
Personally I would move Gauthier Rychel, Lingren, Lindberg and maybe Timasgov up 1 tier and I would move Neilson, Dermott and Bracco down 1 tier. That said, as ussual good video Steve
Avalanche:
Tier 1: None
Tier 2: Tyson Jost, Cale Makar
Tier 3: J.T. Compher, Alex Kerfoot, Andrei Mironov, A.J. Greer, Nicolas Meloche, Chris Bigras
Tier 4: Dominic Toninato, J.C. Beaudin, Anton Lindholm
Tier 5: Cam Morrison, Nick Henry, Sergei Boikov, Duncan Siemens (24 years old...this is his last kick at the can)
Tier 6: Everyone else. I know that I added some guys that have played NHL Games...but I still list them as prospects since they haven't played a FULL NHL season./It's my pyramid :P
xzryanxzx connor Timmins?
GO LEAFS GO
Korshkov could maybe fit in that 2nd tier, he is gooood man, so underrated because he's in the KHL.
You need to make one of these for Ottawa :)
I think watching steve for the past couple of years has turned me into a leafs fan lmao
Trust me Timashov is a very very good player and he has an fantastic wrist shoot
theres only 1 thing I disagree with I fell liljegren and kappas are definitely tier: 2 everything else is spot on tho whats the deal with the purple ? because they are only on an Ahl contract they don't make the primed or did you forget to add them or what . curious to hear your opinion on were they belong
I LOOOOOVE Timashov & Dzierkals! To me they look like steal in the draft and if they can overcome size ''issue'' with their offensive skills....hey mommy!
Realistically with all the great rookies we had last year, I don't see most if any of the guys tier 4 or below making the Leafs ever
No worries, we ALL love you Steve Dagle.
I love how everyone in the comments are GM' s. It's not nhl 17 lol
What about the brick WOLL??
who's in the picture on the top right?
Lol that thumbnail makes it look like they have no prospects at all! Its not the case, but still funny!
Anything below tier 1 is an insult apparently. Steve, you don't need to apologize so much bud. XD
Why cant i find a devils youtuber like you
Steve you forgot GOALIES! I would also put Kapanen with Liljegren in tier 2
Was waiting for this
All I see from this is a hopeful future from both the Marlies and the Leafs.

Steve what's your favorite color?
RYAN MCGREGOR is gonna need a spot in that pyramid , I watched the second game of the rookie tourny and that kid has great positional awareness . his ceiling in my opinion is at best a second liner but in reality a third liner .
I know you're a Leafs guy, but I have to know: What do you think of Martin Brodeur?
Look at the guns on Dangle, holy cow...
What do you think about Joseph Woll? Is he a tier 5 prospect?
Mark Vanderlugt at least tier 5 but who knows, goalies are hit or miss
Mark Vanderlugt I would say woll is the leafs best goalie prospect. But goalie however takes long to develop and we haven't seen him play on professional level yet.
In the rookie tournament Liljegren was out of position twice and turned the puck over in front of his own net for a goal. Maybe he should be in tier 3.
Where do you see Woll?
Islanders:
Tier 1: none
Tier 2: Matt Barzal, Josh Ho-Sang, Ryan Pulock
Tier 3: Michael Dal Colle, Kieffer Bellows, Ilya Sorokin, Linus Soderstrom, Devon Toews
Tier 4: Mitch Vande Sompel, Christopher Gibson, Anatoly Golyshev, David Quenneville,
Tier 5: Otto Koivula, Sebastian Aho, Robin Salo,
Tier 6: Everyone Else
- An Islander fan who knows the rest of the league's fans don't give a shit about my team but here you go lmao
Bob.
Jets:
Tier 1: None
Tier 2: Connor
Tier 3: Roslovic, Harkins, Spacek, Comrie, Vesalainen
Tier 4: Stanley, Poolman, , Foley, Lemieux, Niku, Berdin, Nogier
Tier 5: Samburg, Kovacevic, Phillips, Mackenzie, Green, Glover, Kosamachuk , De leo
Tier 6: Everyone else
Let me know what you guys think, if you disagree be nice, it's just an opinion. If i missed anyone, please let me know. This is just a rough lay out :)
Kevin Herale I think Mackenzie is tier 4 and Stanley poolman are tier 3 and roslovic is tier 2
Laine Light should also be Tier 2
Someone do Vancouver
What happened to the ‘N’ in Soshikov who cares about the ‘M’ in atthews.
Steve, you said that the top tier would be players who were top 3, but Liljegren was supposed to be Top 3, fell due to Mono. Realistically wouldn't you consider him to still be a top 3 prospect thus putting him in the top tier?
Steve did you watch the memorial cup
Joseph Woll I think should be close to one of the top 5 tiers.
Canucks:
Tier 1: no one
Tier 2: Brock Boeser,
Tier3: Elias Petterson, Thatcher Demko, Olli Juolevi, Jonathan Dahlen
Tier 4: Nikolay Goldobin, Kole Lind, Adam Gaudette, Jake Virtanen, Michael Garteig
Tier 5 Jonah Gadjovich, William Lockwood, Michael DiPietro, Jalen Chatfield
Tier 6: Guillaume Brisebois, Petrus Palmu, Jack Rathbone, Kristopher Gunnerson
Edit: Tier 7: Everyone else
wow virtanen in tier 4 eh? I still remember how highly touted he was pre World Juniors. Dahlen will be tier 2 next year
In terms of there ceiling I believe that he is below all the others put ahead of him, I think he was a little over hyped pre World Juniors but I think he is improving on the 4th line right now.
I'm pretty sure you can put Elias at least in Tier 2 and prooobably Tier 1
Ijekster The Fake Account this was before his insane season in the Swedish 1st league so I'll just leave it
I think juolevi and petterson are tier 2 (even before the juniors)
Who Is Better? EDP Or Dangle, No Question Its EDP.
But yeah, Leaf prospect pool went from a brutal mess of misfits to one of the deepest in the league.
I wouldn't have anyone in the top tier... but I would maybe move Kapanen up a tier, might have to reevaluate on the 4th of October as the pre-season finishes but he's a 3rd tier and like a sort of "call up 2nd tier" right now, can be either depending on how he plays
Almost 10000 views in the first day? I'd say people are READY for hockey season!
Kapanen might not score as much as Kessel, but he seems to want to play physical and not afraid of going in the corners. Things Kessel lacked.
Korostelev (or Korostelyov, depending on how you translate Cyrillic) isn't on an AHL contract. Pretty sure he's actually going back to Peterborough for his overage season in the CHL.
YESSSs something to watch
I miss ur old room Steve
Gauthier should be in tier 3. highly underrated player
lol not even close he will never be an NHL especially with the leafs
Leafs Fan342916 I wouldn't say he will never be in the NHL, probably just not a regular
It's perfect Steve perfect.
Johnsson should be in Tier 3. Solid on D and high degree of being able to score 20+ goals in the NHL.
well done dangle
