  • The final video in the Journey to Discover the Philippines series, and also the last day of the journey exploring the northern part of Palawan from El Nido back to Puerto Princesa. On this route, Alex experiences various terrains and the unpredictable weather, with rain and sunshine adding both challenges and excitement to the trip. We will stop at Roxas for lunch at the Vietnamese restaurant "Nón Lá Aromasit Restaurant," to enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine in a foreign land. After that, Alex visits Viet Ville, a village of Vietnamese refugees who settled there after 1975. Nowadays, it also serves as a refuge for Vietnamese fishermen detained for illegal fishing in Philippine waters. Follow Alexplores to feel the wild beauty of Palawan and hear the moving historical stories.
Sincere thanks to Mr. Dũng for sharing his story!
